Please note, the Kielder Marathon Event will be taking place on 12th & 13th October 2019. As a result there will be limited movement around site for vehicles, and restricted access in some areas. The lakeside way will be closed during the event and there will be limited activities running during this weekend. The restaurant will be open as normal, however will be very busy during this period.

Not the most comfy bed! No outdoor eating furniture, lodge looks a little tired (number 3) but overall it was adequate for what we needed. Didn’t try the bath but everything was clean. The shower was a trickle

The only thing we found this year was the lodge did get quite warm and due to the time of year and midge population it was difficult to keep the windows open (it would be great if they had insect mesh on them). This didn't spoil our stay at all though and we will definitely be back
