This lovely detached Oast House is situated just outside the medieval village of Beckley and is set within a large garden backing onto the owner's grassland and woodland estate - beyond which is extensive woodland with free access for walking and cycling. The Oast makes a superb holiday home (can sleep up to eight) with a stunning  kitchen and dining area for entertaining all the family and is an ideal escape to the country for history lovers with iconic Bodiam Castle near by.  The grounds of the castle offer the perfect venue for family picnics or if wine is your tipple, plan a tour of the local vineyards, of which there are an abundance in this area.  The cobbled streets of  historic Rye are only a short drive away as is Camber Sands - with seven miles of golden beach to explore and enjoy. There is an excellent superstore in nearby Peasmarsh.

Ground Floor:

Sitting Room is in the roundel with wood burning stove, two sofas, two leather armchairs, TV/DVD, CD/radio, well stocked bookcase and door to garden

Open Plan Kitchen/Dining Room is stunning and very well equipped including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer plus a lovely large country pine table and chairs and door to garden

Cloakroom with washbasin and w.c

First Floor:

Bedroom 1 is in the roundel with king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, old pine dressing table with lamp, wardrobe, small settee,  TV and En-Suite Bathroom with shower over the bath,  heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c

Bedrooms 2 & 3  each with single bed and oak futon chair (opens as adult single bed)

Bedroom 4 with a super king-size bed which can be separated into two, with bedside tables and lamps, hand built Shaker style fitted wardrobe, old pine chest of drawers and a Lloyd loom armchair

Bathroom with shower over the bath, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c

Garden: A large garden area with exterior lighting and lawns with garden furniture and sunshade.

Parking: Covered parking.

Heating: Oil central heating and wood burning stove (1st basket of logs provided)

Notes: A security deposit of £100 in cash is payable on arrival. Please contact owner before arrival if you require the beds in a different arrangement than as specified above.
