Snaptrip says

Guests generally appreciate the cottage's spaciousness, cleanliness, and the serene, rural setting with stunning views. The hot tub is a highlight, although some guests mention it being overly hot. The games room is well-received, despite some equipment needing updates. Comfort levels are mixed due to mattress quality. The property's seclusion is praised, though some guests note a lack of basic provisions upon arrival and minor maintenance issues.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with several guests specifically noting its spotlessness. However, a few mentions of flies and dirt in the hot tub water slightly affect the score.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, privacy, and proximity to natural attractions. The rural setting offers fantastic views and a sense of seclusion, which is appreciated by many guests. However, some guests noted difficulty in finding the property and the closure of a nearby pub.

While the property is spacious and the heating is commended, comfort scores are lowered by frequent complaints about the quality of the mattresses, which many guests found uncomfortable. Some guests also mentioned issues with water pressure and temperature control in the shower.

Facilities like the hot tub, games room, and kitchen are generally well-received. However, the score is affected by reports of maintenance issues such as a cracked shower tray, broken dart board, and missing pool balls. Some guests also suggested the need for better outdoor seating and lighting around the hot tub.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. While some guests noted a lack of basic provisions such as tea, coffee, and condiments, these are not guaranteed amenities and their absence does not necessarily reflect a lack of thoughtfulness.

We book this particular venue every year and have already booked for 2025. I would buy this property if it ever came up for sale, we already affectionately call it our 2nd home

Loads of space for the money, lovely warm heating system, enclosed garden for the dogs. The location is lovely, quiet and reasonably secluded, with only the odd farm vehicle or car passing on the lane during the day. The beds could do with better mattresses, and the remotes for the TV and Freesat box are a bit worn out and hard to use. The kitchen could also do with a tin opener! But these were all minor niggles that couldn't spoil a lovely week at the bungalow. We are very likely to book again!

It is in a wonderful setting, total peace and quiet. The property was spotlessly clean. The furniture is a bit tired and most of the recliner mechanics dont work. Some of the crockery needs replacing due to chips and scratches. The hot tub was a welcome addition even though again it could do with a bit of attention, no doubt these things are due to the amount of use they get and not everyone being as respectful as they should be. It would have been useful to have some information regarding local shops and supermarkets, or an option to order a basic starter pack of bread, milk, eggs due to the remoteness of the property and the late check in time, especially in the winter months when it gets very dark very quickly. It would also have helped to know what day the refuse was collected especially for a two week stay as the bin isn't very big. That being said it didn't stop us having a lovely time.
