About this property

Pentre Bach is a wonderful small annexe to the owner's property, located on a working farm, with views over the Dee Estuary and neighbouring countryside. Perfect for couples or individual travellers, this peaceful and vibrant cottage is an excellent way to begin your holiday, a breath of fresh air both inside and out. Open up the doors to the living area, where you will discover a collection of lightly coloured sofas and a dining table set-up for two people. The compact yet stylish kitchen lies close by, a charming place to prepare delicious meals from morning through to evening, with those essentials you need to go about your day. There is a fashionable double bedroom beyond, a thoughtfully decorated arrangement with lovely bedding. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep from one night to the next, with a wet room situated just off from here, ideal for readying yourself in the early hours. Make the most of the location in your free time, perhaps by pouring a refreshing drink and resting on the selection of outdoor furniture available, your own enclosed haven surrounded by plants and natural scenery. Close by is a Roman watchtower with 360 degree views over the calming landscape, Dee Estuary, Wirral Peninsula and more. Holywell, three miles away, is home to the famous St. Winefride's Well, one of the Seven Wonders of Wales, and the remains of the 12th Century Basingwerk Abbey. There are many walking routes and trails in the area, including The Pennant Walk, Offa's Dyke Pathway and The Clwydian Range. The historic city of Chester, with its famous Rows, city walls and shopping is easily reached, as is the North Wales town of Ruthin. A beautiful location to build some memories.

The village of Whitford features a children's play area and tennis courts, and there is a pub with restaurant close to the village. Within the locality there are four golf courses, including Pennant Park with its clubhouse and far reaching views over the River Dee and the sea. Good horse riding and fishing facilities are also available. A short journey along the North Wales coast leads to the popular towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
