We stayed at this beautiful cottage with family and friends over the New Year period. The cottage was homely and inviting. The host was very helpful leaving us a 'welcome' pack including a fresh cake which went down well with a cup of Yorkshire Tea. Our dogs loved it here with the amazing walks surrounding the property. The information pack was helpful which included local takeaways. We would like to thanks you for our lovely stay at Rose Cottage and we will highly recommend to our friends and family. Many thanks

We've had a lovely holiday here at Rose Cottage. It's a lovely house and feels very homely. We spent a day at the Air museum in Elvington which was very interesting, a day at the beach in Hornsea then up to Bridlington for fish & chips and a day in York finishing with the ghost bus tour! We also loved the local walks (as did the dogs!) and the peacefulness of the area was perfect. We feel well rested after our week here and we will definitely recommend it to friends & family. We particularly liked the scrapbook showing the previous restorations and the little touches that made it feel like home - the books to read, DVD's to watch, puzzle books and leaflets about the local area and all of the seating around - we had a room each to relax in! The two TV's also quite handy! Thank you Angela, John (and your son) for a wonderful holiday and a beautiful cottage.
