What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Powys To Rent.
Staffordshire, United Kingdom - verified booking
"Delightful place - lovely people. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very warm and friendly welcome by the owners and their manager who gave us complete privacy but were only a phone call and a five minute drive away should we need anything. The accommodation is of excellent quality - our party of fifteen plus two toddlers occupied the four bedroomed farmhouse, the two bedroomed cottage and the four bedroomed barn conversion - and were able to dine together in comfort. The two hot tubs were very popular. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful and the delightful River Crai runs through the owners' land. Weather was mixed so on fine days we were able to take advantage of this being in the centre of outstanding walking country but when the Brecon Beacons rain persisted we had plenty of room to enjoy being together indoors and in the big play barn with its table tennis table. This was our 16th consecutive annual family get-together and we consider this accommodation to be the best yet."

"I had a really wonderful stay at this unique beautiful, peaceful & large house - very high standard of decor and comfort. Clean, well equipped and homey. Beautiful private gardens & location with great views; lovely conservatories to chill out in; various terraces to soak up the sun or sit in the shade; fabulous cosy evenings in on super comfy sofas in beautiful living room with lovely warm log burner. Fabulous large kitchen and choice of very nice dining areas! Great WiFi and physical access to lots of places to visit as well as pretty walks from the door. Very helpful but discreet hosts. Would highly recommend. The perfect place to relax and unwind!"

"For us the property was 1st class, even though it could be rather remote for some people, but if you want peace and quite, wonderful scenery and no contact e.g. from mobile phone calls it is brilliant! It is a place that makes you feel relaxed and rested, especially with the added bonus of a hot tub which adds to the whole package. Exactly as it was described with good pictures. Beautifully furnished with good ranch of equipment. It was our first visit to Wales and found it to be a very 'green and pleasant' country and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. Best of Wales was easy to deal with, good communication."

"Property even better than described, fantastic views, clean, homely and extremely well equipped for adults and children. In a fantastic location with a pretty easy 30mins walk to the village. The log fires were popular and cosy with everyone! The hot tub and views were amazing. The owners were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. All my 23 family absolutely loved it there, we would highly recommend anyone visiting and will certainly go back at some point. Thank you. Best of Wales are very efficient and professional to book with, they answered any queries promptly which helped organise the whole weekend."

"Superb accommodation in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Both properties fully satisfied our requirements for comfortable accommodation in a very pleasant setting. Lots of space for our large party of 20. Additions of hot tub and log burners made our stay extra special. Both buildings were very tastefully fitted to a high standard without loosing any charm associated with their historic nature. They are situated in an interesting part of the Welsh countryside with fantastic views. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful especially the owners Susan and Iwan."
