"Each year around Easter time we have go away with our friends to a lodge or barn property where we can find beautiful walks and enjoy exploring small towns and country pubs. We have always had great experiences but at this property the owner, Lin ,went above and beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable and enjoyable holiday, she was amazing! The barn was very clean and tidy and surprisingly very warm considering there was snow on arrival. It is exactly as the pictures portray, if not better (it was a little bigger than expected) The views from the barn are beautiful and even better from the hot tub which was cleaned almost each day of our stay and big enough for 4 adults. When we arrived Lin had left us all of the information we needed and even left us eggs from the farm and milk, tea and coffee. She left us to enjoy our holiday but we knew she was close by and happy to help should we have needed her. Lin recommended some excellent places to eat and towns to explore. Ludlow was our favourite! It is a beautiful market town that reminded us of a smaller version of York/Chester. The barn is secluded but there are lots of lovely walks and places to explore within driving distance, we managed with a 7 month old baby! Overall a wonderful place to stay to rest, refuel and get away from busyness! Thank you so much Lin, we had the best Easter trip yet!"

"We had a wonderful week and we are already missing the spectacular views. The outside seating area isn’t comfatable so we spent very little time sat outside. It really needs proper garden furniture with some sort of shade for the summertime. We was very fortunate that we had amazing weather but that meant we couldn’t sit in the living room as it was far too hot, it also meant we couldn’t watch tv until the sun had gone done. You really need to install some sort of blinds to block the sun and possibly some fans. The AGA cooker was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed doing the cooking. We all had a lot of fun playing pool and my husband and granddaughter enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were extremely comfortable but we found the pillows were not and it was something we all commented on. Overall a wonderful house, it had everything you could possibly need."

"The cottage was extremely quaint and very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it was very close to a relative busy road which totally spoilt the atmosphere due to the noise of the traffic. You were unable to hear anyone when vehicles were passing when sitting outside, we had to shut the windows at night due to the noise. It would have also been better if there were no sheep in the field directly across from the enclosure where we let the dog run loose as this put us on edge to keep the dog away from the fence. Apart from these two factors the cottage was lovely and cosy and would have loved to have returned if the location was more remote and more private. We may book again just for a weekend break rather than a week. The bottle of wine on our arrival was very welcoming as the weather was fantastic and we had a lovely stay."

"My father booked this for the family for his 90th birthday. There were 9 of us and a well behaved dog. The place as a whole was lovely and well modernised. The Aga was scary but we all cooked on it and came to love it. I can't say enough how spacious it was, although so we could all sit in the sun room we did borrow the settee corner suite from the kids tv/play room as we were all adults. We found plenty to do locally with lots of walks and loved the red kite feeding station. Plenty if red kites of our own over the property too. The night skies are perfect for star gazing due to lack of light pollution. Hot tub only big enough for 4 really but it wasn't a problem as we didn't all want it at the same time. All wanted to stay longer and vowed to do it again."

"Me and my partner stayed here for a few days this month and it was amazing. The views are incredible and the cottage was so beautiful and well equipped. There was lots of little touches like prosecco, milk and eggs on arrival. The cottage was absolutely spotless. There was a minor problem with the internet dropping out, but as soon as we informed Lin the owner she came straight down and fixed this for us straight away! Would highly recommend to anyone. The cottage was very private and was just the perfect place to relax. The only feedback would be that the cottage was quite hard to find as the postcode is set for about 2.5 miles at the end of the road, however there were people about to ask for directions. Definitely worth the trip !"
