"Wow that was my first reaction and after staying here Wow just didn't give it justice; neither did amazing and wonderful. High House is such a fab place to stay. The house is decorated to an extremely high standard and the attention to detail is absolutely superb. Beds are fabulous, decor is superb and the location is fantastic! I would like to thank Snaptrip once again for your superb and extremely professional service and would like to add an extra special thank you to the owner who is just fantastic! My family and I spent a very special weekend here to celebrate my Dad's 80th Birthday and we couldn't have wished for better. Everyone had such a wonderful weekend. I have travelled extensively around the world and have been lucky enough to stay in some remarkable places: but High House is one of the most lovely and beautiful places I have ever stayed (they could give any 5 star hotel a real run for their money). Everyone commented that if they won the lottery this is one place they would want to buy! Thank you so so much for making my Dad's 80th Birthday weekend so special! The house was so wonderful that I didn't want to share it but felt that was unfair as it's such a special place. If you're reading this, book it, you will not be disappointed; this place is a complete gem!"

"We had a great few days at S11483 which is a comfortable and well-equipped house with ample room for us all. It was warm and there was plenty of hot water. The views from the house were fantastic and we enjoyed the walks nearby and proximity to Presteigne. A visit to Bryan's Ground is strongly recommended. The track up to the house is quite bumpy but that was mentioned in the description - care is needed when arriving by car. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much."

"Lovely remote location, cottage was very comfortable and we soon settled in. The upstairs toilet stopped working part way through the holiday but it was soon fixed. We struggled with the log burner as it kept going out which was a shame and had to buy some logs as the initial supply was limited and we could not get in touch with housekeeping due to the New Year holiday. We will definitely be back as the area is beautiful and we loved the estate, particularly the gardens and the food shop."

"Friday travel on the roads is horrendous and we had 2 journeys up and back that were truly awful. The journey home to Somerset took 10 hours! and threatened to negate what had been a superb holiday. There were 4 sheep in the field in front of the house which meant the boys couldn't play with the dog out front. Lastly there were no tea bags in our hamper. However the cottage was perfect and we enjoyed climbing Snowdon, walking in the Bodnant garden and Zip World."

"This cottage is ideally located for a total get away from it holiday and is suited for those of us that include our dogs as family, the walks around the cottage are perfect for 2 and 4 legs! Cottage was beautiful and the views all around were stunning. Even the local farmer helped us with securing the farm gate due to our dog Bella being small, she could get through it. Honestly would have to try really really hard to find a fault. 10/10.."
