What our customers are saying about our Pet Friendly Cottages In Bradnop To Rent.
Mrs Stevens - verified booking
"We arrived to a welcome pack of milk, farm-fresh eggs, homemade Anzac biscuits and a bottle of bubbly! The kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly think of including a large fridge-freezer, double oven and induction hob. The bedding and towels were plentiful and of high quality, as was all the furniture in the house. The heating was superb and easy to control. We used the house as a base for our son's wedding in Derby and it was ideal for the 3 generations who stayed. The surrounding area is beautiful and the house would make a great base for a walking holiday in the Peak District. Thanks to Barbara and Elizabeth for all your help - including sorting out a hairdresser for us! If you are thinking of renting Paddock House, we know that you will not be disappointed! We hope to return to Paddock House sometime in the future."

"Everything has been so well thought through - it was difficult to think of anything that could be improved. It is quite isolated in terms of pubs and shops (Ilam has neither) but the position of the house and the amazing views across the beautiful valley more than make up for that. And Ocado delivers! We had a golden retriever dog with us who had a wonderful time - no access to sheep so we were able to let him wander in the garden which isn't enclosed but is on a no through road where the only traffic is from the owner's farm above the property. The owners are warm and welcoming while totally respecting your privacy. We were left fresh eggs and home made biscuits and milk and had the added bonus of viewing lambs on our last day. Can't recommend the place highly enough."

"Overall the cottage was just about okay. There were simple things that let it down.Positive-The cottage was in a good location for walking the manifold way up to Wetton hill and Thors cave. It was on the main road though and very noisy. It had character and the wood burner was good for warming the house up.The kitchen area was small but had good equipment. You would struggle to fit 4 people around table.Negative- overall cleanliness was really bad and comment book had many comments about this. The cushions on the sofa had lots of stains on them.Bedding was clean though.Main bed was uncomfortable and springs and electric blanket could be felt.Small tv which scratched our DVD and then wouldn't play others. The towels were too small.I wouldn't stay there again I'm afraid."

"Everything was well thought out, we walked in to instant holiday mode. The cottage was set in a lovely wooded area great for the children to explore and use their imaginations. Inside the very impressive cottage was a well equipped kitchen, plenty of lovely weight towels and, a real bonus for a party of 10 including 5 children, was a washing machine and dryer. The living room was well equipped with entertainment and a lovely wood burner, and there was a huge dining table for all the party to dine at. Best of all was the hot tub! It was well used all week and well maintained every morning by an on site manager, who was also very helpful with any queries."

"We arrived at the property and were overwhelmed with the size and cleanliness that this charming house offered. The property was large enough for 7 adults and one dog, the lounge was spacious and we quickly had the wood fire roaring away. The bedrooms were good size and the two bathrooms had a massive bathtub each which were lovely to relax in after a hard days walking and taking in the lovely scenery. We enjoyed exploring the limestone ridges and rolling hills that were right on our doorstep. The property had enough space for three cars to park and had a large barbeque which we used during a dry spell. Would highly recommend for families and couples."
