"We stayed at S21914 from 24th June 2016 for 7 nights. It is in a beautiful quite location on the edge of Ludchurch. The location was perfect as a central base to explore further surroundings. Pendine Sands, Tenby, Amroth & Wisemans Bridge are all a stones throw away. The local shops in Kilgetty were only about 5 mins away by car, which has a large Co-op store, chip shop & Indian (the Indian, Seven Spice, is a must try, lovely food & delivery to the cottage available). The garden / decking area at the cottage is very clean & all closed in for privacy & as we took our 2 dogs, we were able to leave the patio door open for them to come in & out at their leisure, without the worry of them being able to get out. The cottage is a great size, especially for couples. The Lounge area is nice & airy & quite large, as is the bedroom. Plenty of storage space. The bathroom had everything we needed, no bath, but a nice corner shower, and all immaculately clean. The fitted kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Cooker & extractor hood, toaster, microwave, fridge with freezer box, all cutlery, plates, etc.The bottle of wine & Welsh Cakes were a lovely welcoming touch on our arrival. We had all the cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar etc, & fresh clean towels too which was nice. The courtyard area has stables converted into a laundry area with washing & drying facilities. This is run on an honesty box policy, if you use them just leave some money in the box. The other stables are now games room, with pool table, table tennis & such for the kids.We had a few visitors in the evenings, in the form of tiny little bats. We didn't mind them, but did have to leave the patio door open for them to fly back out. If this bothers you, just close the door in the evening times as they did seem attracted to the lights inside. The wifi is available, but we found it a bit touch & go, we didn't mind this as we had a decent enough phone signal anyway.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week here and were very comfortable. We will be booking again."

"The house was great value for money and all that we wanted. The hot tub, although a little old, was clean, functional and perfect for the end of the day. The gas barbecue was useful but needs some serious TLC (controls stiff and parts rusting) plus guessing the previous guests hadn't cleaned it nor the owners as we spent 20 mins removing a lot of grime from it. Minor issue though and in no way a dent in the overall holiday (more something for the owners to take on board). The pool table badly needs a new cloth, fine for a quick knock around though. There was no Hi-fi. Wasn't an issue for us as we had a portable building site style radio but definitely something that could bother other guests. The house was clean bar some very minor things (under sofas.... not that we make a habit of checking these places but when your kids are dropping toys under there you can't help it). The kitchen had plenty of utensils etc and was very good and the extra fridge in utility room was welcome. Dining room excellent for large groups eating together. Bedrooms all clean and given the numbers it accomdates, pretty spacious. Garden really well maintained and gets sun most of the day, plus not overlooked which is always a plus. Bathrooms - 3 all with showers) all clean and conveniently positioned.Ultimately holidays are what you make them, we had a wail of a time and Blackmoor Farm played a MASSIVE part in that. So thanks to Blackmoor Farm and the friendly owners for that. Would go back as it is, would be even better were the minor gripes rectified. Some suggestions to owners:Games room could do with a little TLC, lick of paint and new ceiling would go a looooong way.New cloth on pool table. Some under cover area between back door and hot tub and maybe over the hot tub too would be amazing. (Reckon we could do that for you for, I don't know, a weeks free accommodation ;) - see we must've liked it, trying to get back there already).New BBQ (and a cover to keep it in better nick).Hi-fi."

"We have a good time at S21919; the location was perfect and plenty of room at the house for our large group of 3 familys. The farmhouse has a nice hot tub plus a games room which we all enjoyed; the host also let our little ones have a pony ride and they were over the moon! However, we all felt that the Farmhouse was in need of updating to be somewhere we would consider visiting again - the fridge in the kitchen didn't seal so we weren't confident to use it for food, the showers are very low flow and water temperature was temperamental. 2 lights (bedroom ceiling & games room) didn't work and although they were fixed quickly it is something that we think should have been noticed as part of checks before a new the guests arrive. The decor was very basic and although the towel/bedding etc were clean the cottage generally lacked some attention to detail such as having dusty sills & previous guests hair bobbles/dust inside drawers & cupboards. This could be a fantastic rental if given just a little more love!"

"Exceptional will be booking here every year. The best cottage I have stayed in and the location is stunning.Inside it was warm, spacious and clean. Lovely kitchen which was spotless. The living room opens into a really smart mud free garden where my daughter and dog were safe to play while I relaxed on the decking . Also the games room was a hit with my daughter we played table tennis.Having Wi Fi in a rural location was a bonus! The local Indian delivers and the shops are only a 5 minute drive away. Walked the dog on the local beach which is breathtaking (even in the winter) and that too was 5 only minute drive away.Nick and Marie the owners were really helpful and took my booking last minute and when I arrived they were fantastic and helped me with everything plus they were only a phone call away at any time if I needed anything. Can't wait to return and a big thank you to Marie and Nick you were great!"

"We felt the cottage needed updating, wall paper was peeling off some of the walls. Settees were uncomfortable as they sank in the middle and we fell to the side! The electric cooker wasn't working fully as there was a problem with the thermostat so took a long time to cook! There was cobwebs in kitchen cupboards and corners of the house, food residue also in cupboards. Fridge in utility room wasn't very cold and didn't manage to get it any colder! Terrible constant clicking noise from the timer for the central heating and water heater which we could hear from the bedroom with the 2 single beds in and struggled to sleep! Jacuzzi was lovely as was the large garden, nice to be able to walk across the yard to play table tennis and for our boys to be able to have a free pony ride. Lots of days out and attractions within a 20 minute drive. We still managed to enjoy a lovely family holiday."
