"This beautiful, spacious house oozes quality from the coffee maker to the two jacuzzi baths, posh showers and a new, expensive hot tub. All the books, games and DVDs were also appreciated, as was the food hamper. My husband never sleeps well in a strange bed but slept soundly in the lovely master bed all week. We had two families staying with a range of ages. The two living rooms were perfect, one a child/man den for gaming and film nights with another cosy living room for quieter nights in. The owner is friendly and accommodating, the all round views are stunning, the hot tub is of high quality and still lovely and warm in November !We had an amazing, relaxing time.Just a few minor, constructive thoughts for the future :Although there is masses of information about things to do in the local area and a plethora of user manuals, a handbook for the house would be good to advise on how to use the Aga, jacuzzi baths, jet shower, games machines and hot tub (to prevent any damage etc). It could include the rubbish/recycling guidelines and where to find the local shops, pharmacy, doctor's surgery etc. A compost bin would also be great. A choice of pillows would be good too. The quality down bedding is great but the pillows were too high for the children. A little child-proofing would be great to protect both the children and the owner's numerous breakable possessions.Perhaps a sign at the bottom of the lane would be good (the house is further along the track than the terrace cottages that the sat-nav leads you to). These are minor points though as the owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making our stay comfortable and enjoyable."

"Lots of positives: A clean and modern basement flat right on the seafront, perfect for walking into town and very near the main shopping and cafe areas. We had a lovely welcome with refreshments, milk and even cereals provided, plenty of towels and loo roll! Quality furniture, bedding, equipment and fittings, a warm space with easy to use thermostat controls.A few negatives: As a basement flat, it is to be expected that it does not benefit from much natural light. You can hear noise above eg. people walking up and down stairs, people leaving and entering the shared entrance, noisy water pipes when other people in flats are using their bathrooms. So if you're used to a bit of noise it's fine, but it's not for people who want quiet evenings or lie-ins. In the pre-arrival info it says it's ok to load directly outside, however there are double yellow lines and we were accosted by a traffic warden when packing up. There are some free parking spaces up the road from North Beach a short walk away."

"We thoroughly enjoyed a mini break at S95222 for 4 nights during October half term and were lucky to have dry sunny weather the whole time. S95222 is spacious and is well equipped (though the tin opener didn't work very well) and is set on a pleasant grassy site with a small play area which my two young children enjoyed using. There is also a small heated outdoor pool on site though this was not open (as it was late Oct). You can walk to 3 beaches straight from the site which we did. We also drove to Newport (not a very special place, and VERY narrow roads) and did a walk from there up Carn Ingli. The surrounding area is very remote which suited us for a short break. It was a lovely area in which to go walking."

"Only reason I wouldn't stay there again is the steep stairs down to the bedrooms. As an older person, I found it extremely difficult coming up them. Appreciated the clockroom on the first floor. Light sensors annoying everytime you walked from front room to kitchen. Realise they are needed because of the steep stairs though. The dishwasher was full. Admittedly with clean dishes, but still the cleaners should have checked. Some of the window sills were dusty and the patio area could do with weeding. I mended the coat hanger in the hall. Found it difficult to open the safe key when I arrived, and when I rang the Owners' mobile for help, and talking for awhile, was told they were in Spain."

"Ranelegh is a beautiful home which is equipped with everything you need, making it a real "home from home" The hot tub was an additional cost to use for the week as it had only recently been installed - which was perfect! Lovely views down to Goodwick harbour from the hot tub in the evenings.Very comfortable beds and high quality furnishingsWe did choose Ranelegh as being close to the beach, pub and shops - we didn't realise what a steep climb back up to the house it would be - so please take that into account for those less mobile visitors. Also the garden is not enclosed, which had been one of the search criteria for me as we have a small dog - so he had to be kept on a lead."
