What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Oxfordshire To Rent.
Margaret - verified booking
"The cottage was lovely especially the spacious beamed living/dining area. The double bed was extremely comfortable, in fact one of the best I've ever slept in. The interiors of two of the kitchen cupboards needed cleaning and there were a few cobwebs in corners but otherwise it was neat and tidy. A plastic chopping board would be a good idea as the glass one was not at all practical. The wood-burning stove was very welcome. There weren't any leaflets for local attractions as you would expect to find, only a list which was very inaccurate as far as the distance to Oxford is concerned. It was given as 35.4 miles whereas it's actually about 15 miles away and one of the main reasons for booking the cottage!"

"This is our second visit to S24877.The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of toys, books, games and DVDs to keep everyone amused. The garden is sunny and secure with shady patches throughout the day to keep both dogs and sun worshipers happy! The nearest shop and pub is a car journey away but for us, being in the middle of nowhere is and absolute must. Dean is such a good base as most Cotswold sights are less than an hour away. The owner could not be friendlier and helpful and despite respecting our privacy by keeping away, she only lives next door and is more than helpful if needed. Please don't go; it's OUR retreat!"

"The house was lovely and well suited to the needs of a family group.Set in the centre of woodstock makes it convienient for local amenities. Blenhiem is just a short walk away. However the pictures of the property showed a small outside space with table and chairs. In fact this was the path on the main street with no table and not suitable for sitting outside. I felt that this was misleading. We were advised of a free car cark near the property but in fact this was limited to a 12 hour stay causing difficulties in ensuring parking on a daily basis as there was often no available roadside parking. These difficulties impacted on the enjoyment of our break."

"Overall the cottage was nice but not up to the standard of other cottages I have stayed in. Whilst the kitchen itself was clean many of the cups and glasses were grubby and there was a dirty saucepan too. There was also pasta in the plug hole in the sink.It would have been nice to have matching glasses and mugs.Even with the fire on the lounge was cold so we had to plug in the heater we found upstairs. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very clean and cosy. The garden and views were lovely. This cottage would be rated a 9 if these small issues were addressed and if a thorough inspection had taken place before we arrived."

"This is an excellent property in a fantastic location. The house is more spacious than we had anticipated and extremely well equipped. It is a shame the owners havent allocated any of the outside space to guests as the weather was lovely during our stay and the ability to sit outside would have made it perfect. We tried several of the pubs and all were excellent. We brought the annual pass to Blenheim and walked the very short walk to the Woodstock gate and into Blenheim most days. We had no difficulty with parking, and although the road noise didnt bother us it probably would affect lighter sleepers during the week. Sept 2012."
