What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Oxford To Rent.

"Excellent and cosy place to spend a quiet week and, if you have the urge, somewhere from which you can take off and explore Oxford and the surrounding area. Every piece of equipment worked except the security key holder which would not close, and one portable heater, even though I replaced the fuse in its plug. Combined CD player and radio also a bit of a mystery! A really good feature is the open hearth and the chance to have a fire - logs were supplied but if you want more go to B and Q or Homebase just down the road into Abingdon after the A34 interchange. Best local pub is the Merry Miller at Cothill - good food and drink and log fires. Beware of a very busy road just beyond the lane on which the Cottage stands. Cars are driven at well over the 40 MPH limit supposedly in force. Not easy for pedestrians. Information left for visitors very thorough."

"As a group of eight friends we enjoyed our stay at the comfortable four bed converted barn. One of 3 in the conversion. There are no amenities within easy walking distance especially in the winter but excellently positioned as a base to explore the many attractions of the area. Oxford and Newbury are les than 30 min drive and Wantage only a short drive away. One negative in the property is the WiFi. No broadband - only a 4G link which didn’t allow connection to a server, so if internet access is essential to a business person, this is not for you. Also, if you are a family with kids, there is only one tv to fight over! We would recommend this property and would definitely stay again if in the area."

"The house was lovely and well suited to the needs of a family group.Set in the centre of woodstock makes it convienient for local amenities. Blenhiem is just a short walk away. However the pictures of the property showed a small outside space with table and chairs. In fact this was the path on the main street with no table and not suitable for sitting outside. I felt that this was misleading. We were advised of a free car cark near the property but in fact this was limited to a 12 hour stay causing difficulties in ensuring parking on a daily basis as there was often no available roadside parking. These difficulties impacted on the enjoyment of our break."

"The cottage was even better than I had imagined, with all so clean and well equipped. The deer roaming round early morning, and the three friendly sheep were invaluable extras for the children, who also enjoyed their stay. I reported a slight leak round the collar of the kitchen tap, and gave thanks for the lovely idea of leaving a Christmas tree for us! Someone had put a lot of thought into what visitors of three generations would like. Obviously I would have like it to be cheaper, but wouldn't anyone? Finally the snow - while not arranged by the owners - was "the icing on the cake"!"

"Very nice and tastefully decorated romantic cottage. The kitchen is very well equiped.A lot of space inside and some large bedrooms. The location is perfect for following the Midsomer Murders-trail and to visit Oxford, Blenheim, Windsor, etc., etc.You stay in the middle of the Chiltern Woods. So our dogs loved to walk in the neighbourhood with a lot of squirrels, birds and even wild boars. They however didn't appreciate the garden, which was often in the shadow (late September). The road to the cottage is not allways easy (certainly not by heavy rain), but makes part of the charm."
