"Holly House sits in a very peaceful neighbourhood with which we felt very much at home. The house has plenty of room and was very clean, with ample room to park the car on its own drive. There is a nice secluded garden to the rear of the house, which is totally inaccessible from the front/side, thereby making it really safe for children. The only comment I would make here is that there are two very large steps down to it from the conservatory. The house was very comfortable throughout, although the beds could be considered as being a little on the low side. Home entertainment systems were well provided for and there was also a nice welcome pack, which included a refreshing bottle of wine.As we are likely to have need of visiting this area of Kent more than two or three times a year, we would have no hesitation in booking Holly House if it is available."

"A lovely, well equipped house which felt more like a home than a holiday let. The sea front is a 10 minute brisk walk away or an easy drive and there is ample free parking. Margate itself has clearly seen better days but with its lido and Art Deco styling one can imagine how splendid it once was. A mile or so from the cottage is Botany Bay, a hidden gem and a real treasure. There are many parks in the area and a couple of miles of dog friendly sandy beach at low tide. The Viking Coastal path is nearby, which is wide and well surfaced making it ideal for both walkers and cyclists alike."

"We are not used to self-catering holidays, however we needed to bring our dog with us this time and this proved ideal. We also needed to bring my sister-in-law's dog with us. Both Springer spaniels. Both dogs adapt easily to different surroundings and are well behaved. We did have transport which is essential if you want to get out and about. Only criticism is only 1 toilet and this is in the bathroom. This did not prove a problem for 4 adults.Would definitely recommend this property for firstly cleanliness and spaciousness and wonderfully equipped kitchen."

"Just come back from a week in Broadstairs staying in this lovely cottage. Excellent location very close to the beaches, shops and restaurants. Accommodation done to a really high standard, very comfortable with everything you could need. Very friendly helpful owner there to meet us on arrival at a time to suit us. 10 to15 minute walk to the train station with lots of different places to visit in surrounding area. Broadstairs itself is a great place to stay with a good choice of places to eat and drink. A very relaxing and enjoyable holiday"

"The location to the beach was perfect as Viking Bay was on one side, and in the other direction there was a much quieter beach. I loved the quiet court yard area which was extremely close to Bleak House and a lovely cliff walk to Joss Bay. The property was very stylish, the furniture was of a very high quality, spotlessly clean and had black out blinds which ensured a good nights sleep in the comfy beds. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Broadstairs to anyone seeking an unspoilt seaside location close to London."
