What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Open Fires In Arundel To Rent.

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at S13785. We stayed over the Xmas break and it easily accommodated 12 of us in terms of sleeping arrangements, cooking, sitting down to dinner and also general space to relax and just chill which we did a lot of. All the rooms are decorated nicely and the bedding and toweling were all of good quality and the kitchen equipped with sufficient plates, cups and glasses etc. We enjoyed lots of walks around the grounds plus also into the village for the local shop and pubs. There isn't too much to do in Kirdford which is a beautiful village but Petworth and Billingshurst are only a short drive away. Good communication also between myself and the owners leading up our stay - no question was too much for them to answer. Would stay there again and would particularly like to stay in the summer months to enjoy the garden and surrounding areas more. In summary - a great place to stay and would encourage anyone looking to book up."

"This was the most unique house we have ever stayed in - an absolute delight. We spent last Easter there, giving it 10 out of 10 and no doubt we would have booked it again. However, owing to the fact that half way through our stay the property was sold and the purchasers paid us a rather threatening late night visit, demanding we handed over keys and for us to vacate the property there and then as we were now in fact trespassing, resulting in us being forced to call the police out as we were concerned for the safety of our 5 year old grandchild asleep upstairs, I feel I am unable to give this holiday any sort of positive rating. We left as soon as we could the following morning having been told a locksmith would be arriving to change the lock, breaking down the door if necessary. As far as we understand, this listed property is to be split into two and re-sold, so doubt it will be available to rent again."

"The cottage is very conveniently situated for places of interest in this West Sussex area, with Worthing town center and sea front just a few minutes drive away. We made use of the little group of shops close by, and to have the excellent park across the road where dogs can run off lead is a great asset. In the cottage there are books in the bookshelves, and games and toys tucked away for any younger members of a family. The kitchen, although not large, was well equipped with considerable thought, and throughout the cottage were little touches that all added to making it a welcoming 'home'. The wonderful log fire at the end of the day was a real bonus, all adding to make the week just a little bit special. I hope the cottage and its history will be preserved for many years to come, for many to enjoy as we did."

"We had a great weekend at S13790. Rosemary is very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive during the stay. The cottage is beautiful and well equipped, the best feature is the roaring log fire that Rosemary had lit for us prior to arrival! It's in a great location, about 1/2 a mile from a great local pub with a well stocked farm shop about 1/2 a mile in the other direction. We used the cottage as a base for walking as it's just off the South Downs Way and it's also a nice walk along the river through quintessential English countryside into Arundel.I'd highly recommend a stay here, as it's a great way to escape London and appreciate the countryside for a weekend. Just watch your head if you're over 6ft as there are plenty of low beams in the cottage!"

"Wow ...what can I say , the pictures on the website don't do the barn justice , its an absolutely beautiful place to stay and the owners have done a great job providing everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Lovely Welcome package and detailed letter , giving you everything you need to know right down to good places to take the children and places to eat. The barn itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated , the children loved the open space outside to play and the games room with badminton court and table tennis. The surroundings were fantastic and a short walk from a lovely little beach. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend the S13795 to anyone . Perfect for everyone .. We had the best holiday."
