"This is a wonderfully placed mobile home in the Aherlow valley. The only fault we found was that the double bed is not over comfortable. The rest of the property is fine with superb views of the mountains. It was lovely that we could bring our dog and the owners were really friendly and helpful. There are lots of walks in the area, but you are limited to forestry tracks with a dog, as all walks which cross farm land are forbidden to dogs even on a lead! Coming from the UK this was a surprise to us. However there are no public footpaths in Eire and all walks are discretionary for the land owner and they have universally banned dogs. We suggest that if you are keen walkers and want to take your dog then Eire is not the place to go. We also found that dogs were more or less universally banned from all bars and pubs, whether or not they served food. So you end up sitting outside or putting the dog in the car (if you have it with you). The scenery is lovely and we strongly suggest getting a really good map or sat nav disc for Eire as there are many small roads that are not marked and a lot of signposts look like they have not been replaced since the war! A big bonus for this site is that the TVs actually work and there is a good WiFi signal."

"When we saw the pictures of Mountain View we thought it was a cottage we were surprised that it was more of a chalet than a cottage. It was more compact than we thought it was from the pictures and had no character. The only colourful things in the cottage were the red curtains in the living and dining room. We would have liked to have seen more personality (i.e. ornaments etc.). When we have stayed in cottages before there was always a welcome pack (i.e. milk, bread etc.) there was nothing when we arrived and as we'd had a long journey to get there to have to go out to a village about 2 miles away was a chore we could have done without. If we'd have been told we'd have bought things on the way. I suppose the cottage would have been ideal for walkers but we like a nice base to go from and return to after exploring and visiting places by car. Although the cottage was clean and tidy we were disappointed that shops etc. were miles away (except for a pub that only seemed to cater for locals and wasn't very enjoyable the only time we went.) The view would have been stunning it it hadn't been for the mist and rain but that's the weather for you."

"Very well equipped ground floor flat (a few steps up from the pavement). The property is just a small and very quiet road across from the beach, with steps down to reach miles of golden sandy beaches. There are three islands directly opposite/near the flat - one is Caldey Island -- you can visit the monastery there and look round the island by boat from Tenby. Stunning views. You can park on The Paragon, which is the quiet road the flat is on. The road is mostly used by people going to the beach. The flat has secondary glazing, so you don't hear much of what's going on outside. Comfortable extra large double bed in a very spacious bedroom. Also a twin room, which has less room, but which was fine. Small balcony outside the twin room. The area is stunning and Tenby is a busy little place, with a good variety of shops (Tesco Extra, Sainsburys, WH Smith, Boots and lots of independent shops). Short walk to the shops - maybe 3 minutes. Recommend this comfortable, spacious flat, which was immaculately clean. Thanks for a great holiday."

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks at S14408 with our 2 children aged 8 and 6. The pool was a wonderful for the children who were in it every day, often several times a day. The property was well equipped and comfortable and the garden was very private with lovely views. The owners were very friendly and helpful - we really felt they wanted us to have a great holiday. The property is in a rural location with lovely walks from the cottage and more lovely countryside all around and we found we could easily drive to everywhere we wanted to visit in 30mins or less (the coast, the cheviot hills, cragside national trust). Also there were good shops/amenities in Alnwick which was only 10mins away. We would definitely like to return to S14408"

"S101173 is a little Gem. We selected this property after looking at other Cottage and accommodation sites. It was our choice for location as it is very close to the Park and Ride, the City and to our son's house. The amenities and the layout were completely ideal for us. As well as everything that we have marked "excellent" the added bonus is Sue, the owner. She was welcoming, friendly but not intrusive and made us feel very much at home. The 'welcome pack' she left out for us was most welcome and of excellent quality. We would love to stay here again when we come up from deepest darkest Devon to visit our son. Highly Recommended. Thank you Sue."
