What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Norwich District To Rent.

"My biggest concern relates to the double bed, the mattress of which is desperately in need of replacement. Both my wife and I woke frequently due to springs pressing through the mattress. Having had little sleep for the week we both came away from our holiday exhausted, this has been commented upon in previous reviews but clearly nothing done. I could n't recommend this cottage until this issue is resolved. The site is beautiful and very peaceful and the accommodation is excellent and was clean and well equipped. The pool was warm and clean. The location is somewhat isolated from centres of attraction, which means longish journeys for meals etc.It seems strange to charge £60 for heating for a week in early September, with no control over temperature or timing. This is the first time that we have been asked to pay extra for basic heating in a cottage. I am glad we did agree to pay extra as otherwise the accommodation would have been cold."

"Isobel and Eric could not have done more to ensure that we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at their charming cottage. From the quality furnishings and equipment to the welcome pack that included Isobel's meringues, fairy cakes and (due to our fortunate timing) some of Eric's birthday cake, this was a holiday deserving of its perfect 10 score. We loved the period features, including the original range oven – fortunately there is a more modern one to use! There may not be exciting nightlife in the immediate vicinity, but that is exactly why I chose this property. For relaxation, I would give it 11. There are pubs and eateries within walking distance and the "excitement" of Norwich is 4 miles away. with a bus stop 100 yards from the gate. My wife and I have holidayed in cottages and apartments in UK and Europe for over 30 years and this is the most comfortable, relaxed and "at home" we have ever felt."

"What a lovely place to spend the week. It was so peaceful without wifi and phone signal, my kids talked to each other, played all day every day in the pool and genuinely had a good time......while my hubby and I relaxed in the garden with our little dog. We found great places to eat and visit with kids and the dog and even used the BBQ one night....The idealistic spot is surrounded by woodland and old history with a church to visit and the lakes and rivers around are just beautifully kept,The games room got plenty of use as our kids remembered how to have fun with no connection. I would throughly recommend this hidden gem as a complete technology detox without being bored .... we all loved it and will be returning. The photos on site dont fully reflect its loveliness, it's much nicer."

"We arrived to a warm welcome from Isobel, with cake and scones awaiting us in the cottage. From the photos, we thought that the kitchen was open plan with the lounge area, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was in fact a separate room. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Despite picking the coldest week for a decade, we were warm and cosy, with Isobel and Eric checking regularly that we were warm enough, and even offering us food supplies on the day of the snowstorm. The location is excellent - about 30 to 45 minutes drive from the coast and other tourist attractions. There is a bus to Norwich which stops 2 minutes walk from the cottage. We would definitely recommend this cottage!"

"First time took our 2 dogs away on holiday. They loved it and so did we. Cottage was very cosy, comfortable and spotless plenty of room even with 2 medium dogs. Enough space in the garden for the dogs to play in. Lovely footpaths to walk the dogs right next to the cottage.Everything you could want.Would have been perfect if the little fence / gate into the garden came up to the front door instead of stopping just before the front door. Was fun acting as a barrier to get the dogs into the garden! They did get it in the end.Lovely footpaths to walk the dogs right next to the cottage.Near to Cromer and very peaceful. Will definitely come again. Thanks for a great weekend."
