About North Devon District

What our customers are saying about our holiday cottages in north devon district to rent.

"Lovely cottage in a nice location. Nice views and very quiet down a long good quality track (concrete road more than track). Tasty cream tea was waiting for us on arrival which is a nice touch! Cottage had everything you need but could do with maybe having a few kitchen extras such as foil and cling film available.Only negatives would be: - mattress in double bed was seriously uncomfortable as you could feel each and every spring - water tank in loft was constantly gurgling and bubbling away for some reason (shared between the cottages?). Not a problem for us as we only used the other 2 bedrooms but the second twin room had the tank immediately above it and it would probably have been too noisy for any of us to have slept in that room as a consequence Having said that, we would still definitely return as we had a great and relaxing week in North Devon"

"This cottage booked for play barn and climbing frame facilities offered. These were very poor climbing frame closed due to being totally unsafe, my grandchildren very sad about this. Play barn all equipment dirty and worn out. Bedding and towels were good. Kitchen not clean cutlery drawers very dirty. Fridge rusting. Lounge furniture particularly sofa very poor and worn out. Carpets and flooring good. Bathrooms okay. Cream tea on arrival nice idea but not covered and therefore covered in flies from farmyard so had to be discarded."

"Fantastic location with a view to die for from the living room and bedrooms. Parking is sparse so would be a real challenge if you have more than 1 vehicle. Generally the amenities are good but the dishwasher is in need of replacement. Would stay again but not during the week due to the attached Kindergarten; However, I understand this may be closing. Milk in the fridge and biscuits supplied gratis was a nice touch."

"We are so pleased to have discovered such a perfect little hideaway, right in the center of one of the most beautiful part of the country. The weather has been a bit variable but that only adds to the charm as the landscape changes so much throughout. The last couple of days have been pure blue skies and a super end to our stay. Thank you so much for our stay at 'S88124' - we hope to see you again soon."
