"..to snuggle down in the warmest toastiest home, hand on heart, i have ever experienced! The water was piping hot and the seating area window clear and expansive to watch the sky and weather in all her forms...It was like being in and with the weather in the most ideal and comfortable clothing weather proofs with the bonus of the kettle and food books company etc to hand....the sky and stars at night are a spectacular wonder as too the air quality and aroma and something to note on the nose and breath in lung fulls...just so beautiful clean and pure. The equivalent of spring bottled water but in air form. Maybe because we are city dwellers the exceptional quality was needed and appreciated for that alone. It was the first thing i noticed on parking and opening the car door..it rushed in like a family member for a welcoming hug! As if to say just Breath and relax now.. We explored in all weathers and seemed to time all our jaunts "just right"..the rain magically stopped for our cliff walks and strides along the beach, the sun shone through enormous billowing clouds at one point the sky opened a window to allow the sun to pour a splayed fan of sun rays onto the seas surface and bounced off the windswept grass into flexible filaments of shiny sea green glass. After the enlivening seashore sensation and stampeding white horses on the crest of the waves....stiller waters... were discovered on a driving foray more inland...out of curiosity we stopped at a little church Dogswell just past Sealyham and then carried on to see a metal farmers gate and pedestrian side gate to that.. and stopped there....it was a woodland walk with pic nic tables about a large reservoir and a great view of tree canopy tops just turning colour....we simply had a blast and breath of much needed air and space to relax in...and found S44552s location just the time and place to find this in. Thank you Bernadette and to all the elements there abide within and abide about....whatever the weather! Enjoy! :)"

"We stayed at S9269 for 3 nights over the new year weekend. We were a large group of 6 adults and 6 children ranging from age 7-12. We couldn't of wished to stay in a more perfect property, plenty of room for all of us, to stay and play together or find a quiet place to sit on your own. Lovely to find a box of treats on arrival along with a very helpful file full of helpful information about the property and things to do and places to eat. The property has 2 kitchens a main and one in the annexe, 2 lounges, handy for watching different TV channels, radio or playing games. The house is furnished to a very high standard, with plenty of storage and very comfy beds, along with little finishing touches that give it a bit extra e.g fully stocked games cupboard with board games, cards and pens and papers. Not to mention a bookcase with somthing for everyone...........I could see me choosing a book and walking the one minute to the beach to read in the summer! The property is right on the coastal path, we walked to New Gale and had drinks in the Duke of Edinburgh. A must do for everyone is to visit the Druidstone on the coastal path, an hours walk. An amazing welcoming atmosphere in quirky surroundings and delicious food. There is also a chinease takeaway that delivers to Hillbrook. We had good communication with the owner which was helpful. Hillbrook ticked all the boxes for us as a group of 3 families, and was an awesome start to 2017. I'm sure we'll be back, would love to visit in the summer. Many thanks to the owners"

"Six comfortable bedrooms and several lounges gave eleven of us plenty of room. We had several keen cooks in our party and the well equipped main kitchen and even a second kitchen for overspill cooking were highly rated. We knew there was a private garden over the road behind the chapel but hadn't expected it to play such a large part in our week as it did - the private full view of the beach and the sea from high on the cliff was spectacular, and we spent a lot of time over there, barbequeing (brick BBQ provided) or just sitting with drinks at the picnic tables. It's fully fenced which is great if you have a dog, just let them wander around it off lead. There's a second garden directly behind the house, the view is only of the car park, but again this is fully fenced and dog escape proof. Turn right out of the front door and you're on Nolton Haven beach in 30 metres. Good beach, and the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath runs from each side of it so you can walk for miles either northwards or southwards. As other people have said, the walk on the path southwards to The Druidstone Inn is well worth doing. We booked an online home delivery from Asda for our groceries. I believe Tesco will deliver to this address too. Otherwise Lidl in Haverfordwest is the nearest decent size shop, there's also Morrisons a bit further into Haverfordwest. And Aldi and Tesco although we didn't actually spot where they were. Lidl definitely the nearest. We highly recommend S9269."

"We were fortunate to spend a week leading up to New Year’s Eve at this delightful cottage. The owners have gone to so much effort to make it feel welcoming, cosy and extremely comfortable. They have tried to think of every eventuality for their guests and this shows in all the added extras that you wouldn’t usually find in just a holiday home. It is so well equipped with everything, and more, that you could possibly need. They have made holiday life as easy as possible by providing more than enough of kitchen ware, along with a full size dishwasher for ease. The themed bedrooms with local photos too are a thoughtful addition. Lots of pretty touches too to make it feel special. The log burner is so cosy after a stroll in the winter sun and the nearby areas are just incredible to explore. Even in the cold, the landscaping is breathtaking. I gather there is now a hot tub, outdoor seating and BBQ area and these will be the perfect addition to such a wonderful cottage. The owners have spent a lot of time, and money, on the property and I know the garden area was next on their list to tidy up. I am very much looking forward to going back this next winter and I can’t wait to sit in the hot tub looking at the stars! If you are looking at going as a couple or a larger group with children then I completely recommend S93989."

"We stayed at this fantastic cottage for a week in June of this year and we had a really great time! The cottage itself is stunning and all the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely well presented. The open plan of the lounge and the kitchen is very nice and the kitchen is very well equipped. The large garden is also very nice and the hot tub was great! This is a beautiful area and it is very quiet at the cottage - perfect place to chill and relax and enjoy proper darkness at night. You will need your car but we got out and about a lot and went all along the stunning coast from Whitesands Bay in the North down through Broad Haven and Little Haven and further South to Marloes, Stackpole and Tenby. There are stunning beaches everywhere along the coasts and lots of National Trust places too so don't forget your cards! We found lots of lovely pubs and restaurants on our travels and nearly all were dog friendly, as are the majority of the beaches. We'd never been to this area before and it really does have some stunning and dramatic beaches and miles of walking if that's your thing. Already hoping to go back again next year!"
