"We were very pleased with our choice of S41677 for our family holiday in celebration of my 60th Birthday. A charming cottage, fantastic for a family holiday. It was as described on the website and exceeded our expectations. Well equipped, tastefully furnished, comfortable and very clean. Good welcome basket, fresh bread and delicious home-made marmalade. The owner Laura was very helpful, also provided excellent suggestions of places in the area to visit.Friendly villagers. Enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast in The Rattlebone Inn. The Angel Hotel served up wonderful breakfasts. The village store was well stocked, open every day early and into the evening.Wonderfully placed for The Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol and touring Wiltshire/Gloucestershire.I would definitely recommend and hope to return. Thank you Laura, we had a truly special and memorable time."

"This cottage, particularly from the outside, gives an impression of a lack of care. The garden is overgrown to the extent that we had to push our way through wet plants that hung right across the path in order to get to the door.Items that were needed were not there. In the literature we were told that both TVs had DVDs attached. One did not and when we pointed this out we were brushed off. The 'Welcome Basket' was full of items that no one in there right mind would consider using. Raspberry leaf tea! Cider flavoured with cloves! Elderflower cordial and a bottle of water! Also the bread was totally inedible. As a regular and, usually very satisfied customer, we were very disappointed. If this is R-R moving down market perhaps we will re-consider next year's holiday."

"Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at the cottage. You’re a fantastic host – we really enjoyed the welcome pack and the personal touches around the house which added to an already homely feel. The wooden mice inspired us to hunt down our own replicas in Bath so we are going home with a legion of good luck mice and fond memories of S41677. For those staying in the future we’d recommend the Rattlebone Inn for food down the road. Castle combe is beautiful for a day out and some afternoon tea. The people in Sherston village are lovely and friendly – the post office is a one-stop shop for anything you need that Laura hasn’t already kindly provided. The perfect country getaway – we’ll definitely be back and will be telling our friends too!"

"We have been delighted with the cottage and our stay. You thought of everything. We loved the food hamper and similar little touches that made our trip enjoyable and luxurious. This was our first family trip with my daughter (nearly 1 year old) and it didn’t disappoint, we look forward to returning with a full house. We especially enjoyed dining out during warm evenings with a glass of vino in the charming garden. For other visitors: Lacock village has a lovely abbey and for a special lunch “The Sign Of The Angel” pub. Tetbury – chocolate box village and lovely shops. Abbey Gardens in Malmesbury, amazing variety and colours of flowers. We spent 3 hours chilling out there, playing giant chess and eating ice-cream."

"Boohoo! We're going home tomorrow… We've loved it here… all the home comforts, so well laid out/ designed and what a tremendous village! We've done the Malmesbury River Walk… lovely (even in my Italian designer shoes – NOT recommended!) The 6 ½ mile Easton Grey round walk… yes, we got lost but we were in the middle of Storm Frank, so a well earned delicious meal at The Rattlebone was just what the doctor ordered….. highly recommended. BUT. The most amazing thing. 15 years we've been meeting at our house on Boxing Day and always have a huge list of breakages, tears and tantrums and this year at Little Maunditts… not a single breakage, tear or tantrum… for this alone it has been superb! Thank you Laura."
