"To start with, the owner Frances called a few days ahead to see if we needed milk put in the fridge. She also offered the use of a dog bed and food bowl. This I was not expecting so off to a good start. The cottage itself was superb. Frances had left notes to explain how the TV and free view box work, how to work the key safe, and to explain she was having issues with the broadband but offered the use of her house system if needed. There was just about every tourist information leaflet you could possibly need along with a selection of books, DVD's and CD's. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and probably had more things in it that I have at home. The bathroom is superb. Very well appointed with underfloor heating and loads of room. The shower was great and the towels were top quality too. The bedroom is ample big enough with loads of wardrobe space. The white decor helped it have a lovely bright airy feeling. The cottage is up a narrow lane which was quiet, and only a ten minute or so walk to the city centre. Frances had left a welcome basket with chocolates, oatcakes, ground coffee, apples, Apple juice and olives. While we never used any of this the offer was certainly appreciated. So to sum up, S122468 is a superb holiday let being very well appointed and providing everything you could possibly need. Great central but quiet location improved by having a very considerate owner. We would certainly go back again."

"S79222 is a modern well appointed unit having been recently constructed. It has an oven, 4 rings, a microwave and a fridge. There is a massive 48inch Sony TV with basic sky channels. There is also a very futuristic Sony dvd player.Numerous dvds are available to view. There is WiFi but it is a dial up connection. The owners Mary and Brian are fantastic people and several items were provided as a welcome pack. Greatly appreciated. The only shop in Bankfoot is a Nissa but it is extremely well stocked. The Perthshire visitors centre is close by with a retail shop and restaurant.Bankfoot is only 8 miles from Perth and Handy for Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Crieff and Balmoral.WE thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at S79222 and would hope to return again sometime."

"Lovely large house with lots of space for a friends' get together. Two fridges were a bonus for a large party of 8 people. Loved having two dining tables that could seat us all together. Beds being made into singles was very useful. Peaceful area but perhaps a tad remote for most weekenders? The hot tub was fab. Owners were on hand but not interfering. We found the main door stuck we opened and that none of the toilet locks worked... which could have led to some embarrassing situations! A landing phone could be useful as there is no mobile signal here and the wifi was unreliable.Otherwise this was a fantastic accommodation and we woukd recommend it. Thank you."

"A very comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage. Very safe for our dog with a fenced in garden area. we felt welcomed with a lovely and thoughtful bottle of wine and milk in the fridge and tea coffee and shortbread. Lots of wild life nearby. pheasants and hares in the field, bats in the garden and a cheeky red squirrel burying food in the wheelbarrow planter in the garden. Lovely walks nearby. We especially liked the heritage trail round Loch Leven with thousands of migrating pink footed geeseWe also loved the log burner stove which made the evenings very relaxing. The cottage is ideally situated for trips to the Trosachs, Pitlochry and the Fife coast"

"We can only say that this cottage is this best we have ever rented it has all you need for a relaxing time away, Roberta was so helpful (but not in the least intrusive) we did not get to meet Duncan as the farm was very busy. Plenty to do in surrounding areas the gorge is a must to see if you enjoy adventurous walking, the cottage is a good base for travelling further a field, Surprisingly not many hills around so easy on the fuel. best attraction within easy reach was the Falkirk wheel, for adults and the kids."
