"The journey to the villa from Avignon winds up the mountains, through small villages with treelined views across the valleys. The Chateau is a five minute walk from a typical, French village, with a butcher, two bakers, two convenience stores, small playground and a few cafes. The drive down dirt road to the Chateau gives the right amount of mystery and then you see the building in all its glory, nestled between the trees and two acres of grass (bring a football, cricket stumps or rounders bat). Our four year old ran across the lawn, past the fountain with a newt and goldfish to the electric fence (needed to be there to keep the wild boars from entering during late August only), and then to the river, where he spent hours playing in the stream - this is not for swimming at this point. The truly amazing married housekeepers Elodie (French) and Edward (English) made sure that every request was answered promptly, showed us where there was a secret plunge pool, provided cider (provided by his own fair hands) and generally ensured that this week between 17 members of my family (aged 4 to 81) was one that will live in our memories as an extraordinary moment in time. The Chateau, the interior design, the bedrooms and all that one would expect was first class. We went canyoning (great fun), went swimming in the nearby lake, went tree top climbing (not for the faint hearted) and enjoyed evenings on the terrace with great food and stunning wines. We have to congratulate the owners for putting love and life back into this building. Thank you."

"We spent the last week of December 2014 in the villa Oliver "in the lovely town of Rochefort-sur-Gard. The Geographical location is ideal to discover Provence Because this place is at the center of the area and nearby to the transportation facilities. The villa of contemporary style HAS met our expectations. Independent, luminous and pleasant to live, We spent a marvelous week in this house. A bay window Belgium Bosnia a breathtaking view on the old town of Rochefort and Its area. Situated on the slopes of a small hill, We had no neighbor, ie no noise and a peaceful feeling to live alone on our site. A raised garden of olive-trees is Directly accessed from the bedrooms. Unfortunately, In Spite of the Good weather, the private swimming pool was not usable at That Time of the Year. For our part, HAVING two dogs - clean and well mannered - We Will Probably Not reliably to return There Because We estimate the requested price for dogs (€ 90 - by animal / week) is Unfortunately not acceptable for us. HOWEVER We Can Warmly recommend this villa to-any person Who wishes Spending time in a pleasant place Within a splendid framework. With kindest regardsMarcel Manuela GODEL RYTERCH - 1528 Praratoud (Switzerland)"

"it was the third time we came to Montclus and it felt a bit like coming home. The first 2 times we had a different stay outside the village, but now we were a bit in a paradise, when we arrived a super friendly Frenchwoman was waiting for us with the umbrella, because it poured there. We immediately got a wonderful explanation about the house, how the kitchen appliances worked, even how we had to switch the TV on and off, about Montclus and its surroundings, where it was best to shop, the sights in the near and slightly further surroundings, in short a wonderful hostess . It is a very spacious house with 2 separate toilets and 3 large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. The only shortage in this house, in our eyes at least, there is no wifi and that might be there anyway. It is a must for anyone who is a nature lover, an advanced cyclist, a walker. In Montclus itself there is not much to do, although you are very quickly invited to play a game of petanque when you watch. Very friendly inhabitants that you certainly do not consider as a tourist but as one of theirs and you will soon feel at home there. We will definitely go back again."

"We enjoyed an wonderful week over Christmas with our large family group in this amazing Chateau. The Chateau is warm and very comfortable with all the charm of a 450 year old castle, huge fireplace, grand living rooms and turrets yet it has all the creature comforts we also expect. It is very suitable for large groups including children as some of the main bedrooms have smaller bedrooms leading off them. Plenty of bathrooms. The grounds are extensive and private. The host and her charming family live on a separate housekeeper's residence within the grounds and are there for any help and advice on the village and the region. She cooked two medieval style feasts for us during our stay (catering for 16 people) which were very memorable. There are a number of lovely villages and towns within 1 hour drive but we had just as much fun hanging around the Chateau and local the walks. The Chateau would be even better in the summer months when the large pool and outdoor terraces could be utilised. I have no hesitation in giving this Chateau a 5 star recommendation!"

"If you are having any reservations or doubts in booking Aranton, then i can assure there is no need., The 14 of us had the most wonderful stay in this very comfortable spacious property. The property is roughly 90mins from Toulouse airport, which is a relatively easy trip up the motorway. The property is well equipped and the owners have thought of everything, with both a well equipped kitchen and games room. The property not only benefits from a lovely dining room but there is multiple terraces to eat outside and enjoy a BBQ overlooking the wonderful views. Both Tony and Nicette are very helpful and wonderful hosts recommending an excellent vineyard to do a wine and armac tasting. The town of condom is less than 10minutes away and has very characterful square and two excellent supermarkets, even a friendly rugby bar that put on the England game for us. There is also many other lovely medieval villages to explore in the area, with markets."
