"It is a nice property and we enjoyed our stay. What we did not like was:--We asked the lady a few days ago if it would be possible to come a little earlier as we had our elderly parents and if possible leave a little later. She said they were booked on both sides of our 2 night stay. When we got there she said we could have arranged to get there earlier or indeed stay later. That would have cost either half a day or a full day rent!--We asked if we could use the open fire....she reluctantly said yes but we would need to clean up the ashes etc from te fire. Asked about the wood she said she would supply and would cost £10 a bag. We then saw on the site that the first bag would be complimentary. When mentioning this she said yes that is correct!--When we checked in she showed us around the property which was helpful. She pointed out to the "rules" that are written down and included things like children not able to eat in the living room, which rubbish bags to use and mentioned at least twice that we have to sign these. Made us feel like children and not something one would expect when paying so much money. Most people respect the property and should be respected themselves also.--When we booked and got the invoice there was no mention of deposit. So we paid the invoiced amount. When I rang 2 days before our stay to confirm about keys etc, the landlady (who lives next door) said need to pay deposit and given timing would need to be cash and would be returned into a Bank account within 7 days after the stay. I would expect a deposit to be paid but should have been requested earlier with the invoice.--Overall a nice property but holiday makers should not get the feeling of "it is all about money" and that the property is rented out as a favour"

"For the amount of money it cost, basic essentials such as hand soap, fairy liquid and salt and pepper should be included.A welcome pack to include maybe a bottle of wine or basics, ie bread, cheese? No welcome pack at all, other holiday homes which were much less had included these. The owner was on site and therefore was overlooking so not much privacy. However she is very friendly and helpful whenever she can be. There are strict instructions re pool 9am to 9pm only, which should be on website, so no chance of barbecue and pool evenings which most people would like.Kitchen badly equipped as far as cooking goes.Advertised two kitchens but only one in use, the second kitchen had covers over most equipment. Did use the washing machine but felt awkward as this was shared.Only four flat screens the rest were boxes.Recycling needs to be listed as to exactly what goes into each bin as it's not clear and owner was obviously annoyed when it wasn't being done properly. The house wasn't as clean as I would have liked but that's down to everyone's own standard.Location was brilliant, lots to do and the pool and hot tub were lovely. Huge shopping complex at the other end of the lane and lovely walks through near by forest and along the river.Dogs not to be exercised in garden and no access at the bottom of the garden as we had imagined so why the lake being near by was mentioned I am not sure?"

"We have just returned from a three night stay at The S81246. The little development of cottages set around a central courtyard was very pretty. Inside the warren was well equipped, and we really appreciated the milk waiting for us in the fridge and the other thoughtful touches around the cottage. The design and decoration were well thought out. Although there is underfloor heating which heated the place beautifully, it was nice to have the log burner in the lounge. We loved the rabbit theme throughout and found the place perfect for exploring the lovely countryside of Hampshire, and not too far to go into the New Forest (once you drag yourself away from petting the pony and goat in the adjacent flied!)We made use of the pool sauna and steam room in the country club, but found the pool a bit on the chilly side. It would have been nice to have towels provided there, or be told in advance to bring swim towels, as we had to take ours from the bathroom. The only other little moan is that the rabbit warren bathroom door sticks on the flooring (just needs a little planing). Overall we loved this little retreat and would definitely come back again."

"Myself and a group of friends and assorted children stayed at S14109 to celebrate a special birthday. The house is fantastically laid out for large parties and there is plenty of space so everyone can either spend time together or find an area to relax. The house is well equipped with everything you could need although you may need to do some child proofing if you have toddlers as there are a lot of ornaments, many of them glass. The garden, pool and hot tub are the highlight of the property and all are well maintained and very clean, the hot tub is a great way to relax when the kids have gone to bed. The location is great for dog walks and the house is pet friendly although keeping them out of the pool on a hot day is somewhat of a challenge. Tammy was very welcoming and although lives on site, is very respectful of guests privacy. A great find and well worth a visit."

"Nice enough cottage but it’s really only big enough for 2 people. There’s a tiny room as a kind of mezzanine with 2 small single beds but the ceilings are too low and the loft ladder to get to the room is not ideal. There’s a pull out sofa but it’s not really practical. It was too small for a family of four and a dog. The cottage was nice enough although we found it was pretty dusty. The pictures don’t show how close it is to the owners house. It’s right next door pretty much and next to the parking area for the owners cars. Saying that the owner was a nice enough chap. Very Friendly and approachable. The cottage is situated in the gardens of the owners house which can be used by the kids. They enjoyed the play area and sports equipment although it did tend to feel a bit awkward due to the close proximity."
