What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Netherton To Rent.
Mrs BrightMr O'connor - verified booking
"The 30mph. sign referred to is not very obvious, especially at dusk. Also, on arriving at the cottage, we didn't, at first, realise that there are two doors, so we thought we had gone wrong as there was no key safe at the first door we came to. The second door ( not visible from the first ) made it appear that there were two separate cottages. It has full facilities including a washing machine, tumble dryer and a trampoline. This was our second visit to this cottage and despite it property changing hands we will be going back again. We did notice a change when we first got in. It was just the little things really, no toilet roll when you get there after a long drive, there was a little tea and coffee when we got there but no milk where there was on our other visit (different owner). We are still planning on coming back next year as it is perfect for our needs. Sykes cottages gave the wrong owner contact information on the email that was sent to me."

"It is modern, spacious and well equipped. The second floor lounge is a lovely place to sit and watch the narrow boats, ducks and swans on the river. The town centre with its old and new areas is just a short walk away. There are lots of interesting places to visit and there is plenty of tourist information provided. If you are a member of the National Trust Tatton Park, Dunham Massey and Quarry Bank Mill and gardens are a short drive away. A visit to Liverpool is recommended taking a guided tour on the yellow bus. It takes about fifty minutes and you can get off and on at various stops around the city. There is a direct train service to Liverpool Lime Street station from Hartford station, about 2 miles from Northwich, but car parking is limited due to commuters and costs £3.70 on weekdays."

"We particularly appreciated the spacious fridge/freezer and empty cupboard space in the kitchen, the powerful walk-in shower in the ensuite bedroom, the large tv/dvd, the beautiful stained glass mural in the dining area. Our Sportage just fitted into the garage - what a blessing to have parking in Chester! We had a little difficulty on arrival opening the key safe but were able to phone the cleaner who arrived and helped us out. We felt that the information provided in the house about using equipment and various services eg hot water/heating & recycling was not always very easy to understand. Despite a few niggles like having no bath mats provided and suffering an invasion of ants into the kitchen in the extremely hot weather, we found S72914 an excellent base for our holiday."

"Facing the confluence of the river Weaver and the river Dane it has wonderful views of life on the river, including ducks and swans and a variety of barges both moored and travelling along the river. We enjoyed sitting on the patio area watching river life. The house itself is truly beautifully presented and has every convenience one could wish for. The fact that it is a gated development is a bonus, and on top of all that it is just a short easy walk over the bridge into the charming town of Northwich. We have had a lovely holiday."
