What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Nether Westcote To Rent.

"The cottage itself was just as we expected in terms of the facilities, with a superb welcome pack waiting for us. We were disappointed on the day of our arrival when frost was expected and occurred, that the heating had not been turned up more than just back ground - after a day of increasied settings, mastering the wood burner and buying a hot water bottle we were more comfortable! It should be pointed out that a couple of the bottom stairs are angled downwards which makes negotiating the bottom turn a challenge. We felt safer by holding on to the lintel above, but someone less agile might find it a bit awkward."

"Overall a nice cottage and no surprises based on its description and other reviews. It could do with some modernising in particular in having Wi-Fi (phone lines do run to the cottage). Also it would have been better if there was some form of enclosure at the rear of the property for the dogs, as the adjoining cottages also have dogs and you have to be a bit guarded if the dogs don't get on and the risk of dogs running off.And finally as mentioned in other reviews, the double bed desperately either needs a better mattress or a deep fill mattress topper as it was very uncomfortable."

"It wa sin a quiet neighbourhood and the hosts were not intrusive. A beautiful garden with river frontage was all lovely. Very good setting in a nice village. The only reason I would not book again for was that for two people the bed was a bit small for us. The bedroom would not have accomodated a bigger bed so I guess it just has to be a double bed here in this cottage. The oven we never figured out despite reading and re-reading the instructions. Very complicated. The small bed and the complicated oven are my only criticisms."

"As before: Most importantly a glass screen MUST be fitted to the over-the-bath shower. The shower is brilliant but as it is so powerful, when used it turns the bathroom into a wet room. It is also, I suggest, dangerous as the water must seep through the wooden floor.A Grab Rail is needed on the stairs to the main bedroom.A couple of the light switches do not appear to do anything. On arrival there was a very pungent smell of soot/smoke which was difficult to eliminate.A rug on the kitchen flagstones would be good."

"I would like to thank Janet for a wonderful holiday in S85969. The accommodation was everything we could have hoped for and more. As we did not have a car, we found that getting around to the surrounding places of interest were very easy, as there is a bus stop just opposite, and a train station within easy walking distance. Janet was such a friendly host and made us feel so welcome, it was as if, we had known her for years. We would not hesitate to stay here again as we had such a perfect time....Julie and Gloria"
