"This beautiful, spacious house oozes quality from the coffee maker to the two jacuzzi baths, posh showers and a new, expensive hot tub. All the books, games and DVDs were also appreciated, as was the food hamper. My husband never sleeps well in a strange bed but slept soundly in the lovely master bed all week. We had two families staying with a range of ages. The two living rooms were perfect, one a child/man den for gaming and film nights with another cosy living room for quieter nights in. The owner is friendly and accommodating, the all round views are stunning, the hot tub is of high quality and still lovely and warm in November !We had an amazing, relaxing time.Just a few minor, constructive thoughts for the future :Although there is masses of information about things to do in the local area and a plethora of user manuals, a handbook for the house would be good to advise on how to use the Aga, jacuzzi baths, jet shower, games machines and hot tub (to prevent any damage etc). It could include the rubbish/recycling guidelines and where to find the local shops, pharmacy, doctor's surgery etc. A compost bin would also be great. A choice of pillows would be good too. The quality down bedding is great but the pillows were too high for the children. A little child-proofing would be great to protect both the children and the owner's numerous breakable possessions.Perhaps a sign at the bottom of the lane would be good (the house is further along the track than the terrace cottages that the sat-nav leads you to). These are minor points though as the owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making our stay comfortable and enjoyable."

"This was a nice house, a little remote from anything but with great views and fairly comfortably appointed so we weren't complaining. The owner was friendly and helpful, particularly over the wifi which was not great initially and took some time to sort out and even then was not secured which is not ideal. We really liked the layout of the house, it was great with an older relative in toe to have a bedroom that she could get to without using stairs etc and the house was well equipped. My only real issues with the house was that there was no guide to how to use any equipment - so if you had never used Sky before you might have struggled a bit - or that had gave us any info on the surrounding area. We quite often rent cottages and that was quite strange and a bit irritating. Also most houses would have a few books, guides and games that you could pick up and use/read on a rainy day but not here. Other small niggles, the main bedroom bathroom could do with a little T&C - loo seat needs fixing and the towel rail is not great and there should always be sensible sized towels available which we had to ask for. However, let me stress that these are minor things and easily fixable and in fact if were fixed I would probably have been giving the house a 9 or 10. We still had a very nice stay indeed and the owner was as helpful as he could be."

"We stayed for a week (3 generations) and all really enjoyed our stay. The location is great - Narberth is a lovely local town and you are close by to Tenby for the beautiful beach and also to Picton Castle which is worth visiting. Folly Farm and the water park are brilliant for any children. The cottage was peaceful - we had cows and tractors for company. Everything was very clean. I would probably update some of the bedding/towels for cream/neutral colours but I guess that is a personal preference. The owners were friendly and found a very pretty lake for my dad to go fishing for the day. We were welcomed with Welsh cakes and a bottle of wine. We felt there was plenty of space in the cottage for all of us. We would all recommend the Cowshed for a great evening meal. We hope to come back again and stay."

"Lovely stay here, would happily come back. Great location and excellent facilities and the owners are lovely. Found extra boxes of toys for our girls and were very helpful. The cottage itself was charming with very good facilities (+thoughtful touches like soft toys for the children in the childrens room, cookies and childrens books). Our 5 year old daughter said of the holiday 'It's lovely here, don't want to go home'. Play facilities for the kids also excellent. The hamlet does not have any shops, but it's very easy to get to slightly larger places like Kilgetty, Tenby or Pembroke Dock so not an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed 2 weeks of family time, relaxation, peace and quite. Many thanks to Tony and Miriam from Richard and Jo and family (Manchester)"

"Comfortable cosy cottage ideal for two with a dog and that log burning fire was an absolute delight. The bed was just a wee bit small for two reasonably large adults but it did not stop us sleeping. The local area offers lots of fields, cows and sheep, streams and wonderfully green rolling countryside. There is a boozer some three miles away, great beer, serves food Thursday, Friday, Saturday and I believe Sunday. A car is essential, or bike etc. The owners are friendly, helpful and happy to welcome you into their very personal holiday home project. We loved the peace and quiet, yes we would go again and recommend this Corner Cottage to those seeking a brief respite far from the madding crowd."
