"I then received voice mail to say how important it was to contact you , signal was very poor in this area, and to be honest I like to switch off my phone and relax. After several attempts to contact you I finally arranged to leave keys as we had gone out for the whole day . We we returned at nearly 6.00pm the maintenance man was still in the property in the bathroom, his tools were all over kitchen area which had also blocked downstairs toilet . This is not acceptable whilst staying in the property , and furthermore a women walked in and said I’m just going up to see Nev , and casually walked up the stairs to see the man working ! This is not acceptable we had paid a lot of money for this cottage , I have stayed here twice now and booked again with you over the Christmas period if you look on my account . I would like you to email me back regarding this complaint, which I will email separately to you"

"It is also set within a gated community and is set back so you do not see it until you drive in. The owner had set out a cream tea for us to have on our arrival even filling the kettle, which was a lovely touch as was the beautiful white lilies and the box of after eight chocolates (I love after eights!). The scent from the lilies stayed with us all week and was gorgeous. The location, though initially felt a bit off the beaten track, was actually quite a good location for getting to almost everywhere. We never spent more than 1.5 hours getting to our furthest destinations. We travelled to the Lizard (very close), Land's End, St Michael's Mount, St Ives, Padstow, St Mawes, Portreath, Falmouth, Penzance and places inbetween. The roads can be quite steep and hilly with some tight bends, if you are used to country lanes then you will be okay navigating around."

"Beautiful cottage in a picturesque village especially when snowing which we had the privilege to witness due to unexpected snow blizzard in March. Fantastic pub 2 min walk away which we loved and so did our German shepherd really friendly and extremely good food with a “doggie menu” too. Beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced sleeping in , whilst staying at a holiday let and our son said the same about his . We would definitely return and although we would like to do so during warmer months to visit the beautiful coves again but on sunny days however just to note that this cottage has no outside space it is more of a winter destination with a glorious wood burner it makes for a very cozy stay.during colder months."

"The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with things like aNespresso coffee machine, liquidiser, small food processor even desert forks. The welcome gifts of scones, clotted cream, jam, tea and coffee milk, wine, logs and kindling were a nice surprise. The beds very comfortable. The locals were very friendly. Close to many beautiful coves some within walking distance from the house. The pub sold lovely local ales like"Proper Job". The quiz was good fun especially as we won first prize. The only thing to take care is this is an old Cornish town, the streets are at times narrow and the parking for the house is tight it was much easier to park in the free car park just five minutes walk down the road."

"Fantastic facilities - pool, gym, indoor football/basketball area etc. The on-site horse-riding was excellent value with a range of options including lessons, hacks, beach walks. The local beaches are superb with great walking on the Coast Path. Lots of other local things to do for a multi-generational family holiday. The facilities were excellent and kept the whole family entertained throughout the stay. The location was perfect as everything was a 5-10 minutes drive away. I would definetly recommend this cottage and would come back in the future again. Thank you to Chris and Joe for the hospitality, we will hopefully see you again and all the best for the future."
