"Arriving at S40343 after a long 6hr drive was definitely a delight... our hosts Ken & Theresa welcomed us with a full tour and run down on all the features... (and a special very welcome treat) - the place is stunning, finished to the highest of standards and quite a lot Kens own work... Other than the wonderful location and superb property we chose 'S40343' for the fun factor of the Jacuzzi, Sauna & mid Winter BBQ Hut !! Again these were of the highest and cleanest of standards - we had a great night enjoying a Barbie in perfect warmth on a -3 night followed by a relaxing dip in the hot tub... what really stands out is how your privacy is in no way compromised and even with the folding doors fully retracted nobody can overlook. We've been to lodges where you can hold a conversation with your neighbours !! Ken and Theresa have thought of everything... robes, disposable slippers and more towels than you could ever use, kitchen with every utensil you could need. You can tell these guys have very high standards as even the crockery is Denby - no cheap Supermarket rubbish here !! I'm pretty sure the guys ordered us perfect weather too as we witnessed some sunsets that would rival the Caribbean !! All in all I have to say that we were thrilled with S40343, wowed by the standards, stunned by the scenery of the Highlands and Merry from the wonderful tastes of the many distillerys around... I would recommend this place and in fact are looking forward to our next stay !! Thank you Ken and Theresa - we'll see you soon..."

"We were a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers: 19 & 15. We all absolutely loved our time in the house; you are very close to Beauly with its award winning Deli (and reasonably priced I may add for take away or sit in); we walked the 6 miles there and back (3/3) daily for coffee / scones and was a great way to start your morning; the kids spent entire time lazing around the exceptionally well equipped house (tv in each room, great wifi which also allowed me to work and download files from the cloud) and the outside facilities were amazing: 4 man (actually it could take more) hot tub, separate shower, bathroom and sauna! Think of a large outside garage all glass fronted - it was brilliant; robes and slippers provided too! Then there was the indoor BBQ - again exceptionally well laid out; we used it at least twice; there's a fabulous butcher in both Muir of Ord & Beauly; lots of eateries too for take aways or large supermarket at Dingwall (15 mins away); equally eat out in Inverness or spend day there in cafes and shops; Urquharts was very good and great value - you can take the train to Inverness too - try it, brilliant fun - it's like the Edinburgh Fringe on rails!! Ken & Theresa were super hosts - look after you and then disappear and let you enjoy; it's entirely private and they are so relaxed, you can only do similarly. Visit, you'll not be disappointed."

"We booked this property as it was close to family and able to accommodate our friends who we wished to invite to my wife's birthday celebrations. This house can sleep ten people, albeit two have to be quite small to cope with the low ceilings in the attic room. (our grand daughter wanted to have a sleep-over in this room!) The house is beautifully presented and the bedrooms are all quite luxurious (three of them en-suite). The large bathroom upstairs for the use of the folk who did not have en-suites is very well appointed and those using it enjoyed the large bath!) The kitchen was fantastic and we have never experienced such a well stocked kitchen for cooking utensils and crockery. The heating system throughout is quite sophisticated and the availability of wood burning stoves in the lounge, dining room and the kitchen were an added bonus. There was a plentiful supply of wood and kindling for the fires and they were easy to set and to keep going. A nice and very welcome touch was a tray of snacks, coffee and tea awaiting our arrival. We will certainly return. Anyone who does not know the area will be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of things to do and visit within a short drive from the house."

"Just spent 3 days at this fabulous house with friends to celebrate a 60th Birthday. The house is very spacious, has absolutely everything you would need in the very well equipped kitchen. Lovely big dining table to seat 10 in comfort. The living space is all upstairs with fantastic views to Loch Meig & the mountains. It has a great woodburner and comfortable seating. You can access the balconie from the living area which also has outdoor furniture. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean & comfortable with the master bedroom having a very nice sauna. Plenty of wood for the burner is supplied and even without the fire on the house is pleasantly warm. There is ample parking at the property. Strathconon is a place of outstanding beauty a real outdoor enthusiast kind of place. Walks in abundance, hills to climb, lochs to fish and generally a great place to explore. If you are reading this and wondering if you should book just do it !! You most definately won't be disappointed. The owners Iain & Nia Fraser are very helpful and informative helping to make your stay one that you will remember. Would we all go again ..........Absolutely !!"

"We booked our break at S5680 cottage, based on the photographs and reviews that we saw on Trip Advisor. I am delighted to say that the photos don't do the house justice, and that the reviews were spot on. We visited as a party of six, three generations of the one family. We had plenty of space, and the ground floor accommodation was perfect for my elderly parents, (my father has difficulty walking). From the large kitchen to the spacious bedrooms, the furnishings have been chosen with care and add to the enjoyment of being in such a beautiful house. Three of the bed rooms have en suite shower rooms and the main bathroom is sumptuous. Added to this, the house is very quietly situated at the end of a long drive. It seems to me that Tom and Susan take pride in providing accommodation that meets the highest standards, and go to great lengths to make sure that their guests have a wonderful holiday. The welcome pack provided is just one example of this, quality wine, cheeses, biscuits etc, etc. They go above and beyond what anyone could expect. Thanks again, we are already planning a return visit."
