"The 'house' was not at all suitable for a dog as the living room was upstairs and dogs were not allowed upstairs. The downstairs bedroom had no windows so was dark and airless. The upstairs bedroom was too light. The blinds on the window were useless and there was a street lamp outside. The velux windows had blinds on them but it was impossible to reach them so they were uncovered all the time. There was no dishwasher which is fair enough but there was no draining board to put the washed items. With a wet dog and child, it would have been a good idea to come and go through the utility room but then the dog (and the rest of us) would have had to go through the downstairs bedroom (which was not allowed).I would not describe the house as 'end of terrace'. It was more like a garage conversion! It looked very modern and attractive inside but was really not very user friendly."

"Although I read in other reviews that S85483 is a quiet place, We would like to remark that the supplying of the shops in the morning is quite noisy. S85483 is located just behind Bridge Street and is opposite parking spots for the centre. This said: we had a very nice and pleasant stay in Morpeth. The (big) house has 3 bedrooms and is very wel furnished and equiped. The location is five footsteps from the center and close to the busstation. The trainstation is within 10 minutes walk. We travelled in Northumberland by bus and train and that went very well. Morpeth is a nice market town with enought restaurants and shops. The people are very, very nice! We are sure to come back!"

"Fantastic tardis property. From the outside looks like a garage but once inside the property is a vast, comfortable, well equipped cottage with lots of light. This is the first time I have holidayed like this. It was easily big enough for a family of 4. The only negative point was there was no outside area attached to the property for our dog to go out, so all toilet needs had to be done attached to a lead walking along the beach. Not ideal at midnight or 7 am. We weren't able to park outside the property either as a neighbour (white van man) parked outside before we got back every day and then made a racket when he left every morning about 6 am."

"Very comfortable stay, ideal for the beach and walking the little dog. Lovely walk along the promonade, only ten minutes to the town, not many shops but very good Cafe,s to sit outside and watch the world go by while we enjoyed our drinks and very dog friendly. Parking was not a problem all free in this area.Improvements would be a sink with a draining area as the draining rack drips onto the floor if you don,t keep drying the work surface. Also a grab rail in the bath to support you getting I and out of the shower and a grab rail at the front door to support people getting in the deep step.We went to Holy Island and lots of costal villages.l"

"Stayed here for our honeymoon :-) Lovely clean and comfortable house. Well equipped and lots of nice little 'seaside' touches. Well placed for exploring Northumberland and a very short walk to the beach, which our pooch appreciated :-) If you have a small car there is off street parking to the rear of the property, however we parked on a street at the back of the house each day of our stay with no problems at all. This was our first visit to Northumberland. It is an absolutely fantastic area with so much to see and the people are so friendly. Will definitely be back!"
