"I booked S21625 as a place to gather my family together for my 70th birthday. It turned out to be perfect in every way. Parking for five or six cars and a friendly welcome by Georgina made for a pleasant arrival. The weather was frosty but the whole cottage was warm with a log fire - and a plentiful supply of logs and kindling - making the lounge very cosy. There was plenty of space with four comfortable bedrooms, enough showers and toilets to cater for 8 (or more). Every bedroom had bedside furniture, wardrobes and a hair drier! The dining room and kitchen were well equipped; every item we needed during our week's stay was available .. .. in fact, I can manage without a dish washer but there was one, it was clean, almost new and it worked well! My older grandson soon located the table tennis table in the games room while his father and his uncle, a couple of horticulturalists, were more impressed by the magnificent wisteria growing on the cottage. There were some interesting walks from the cottage. A Lidl superstore was 15 minutes walk away with the centre of Monmouth only 5 minutes further on. I now need to find an excuse to have another big family get-together. When I do, I will return to S21625."

"We have just enjoyed a perfect week staying at S40208. Our host was very welcoming and there if we needed her (we didn't see her until we handed the key back, there weren't any problems so we were able to have a quiet relaxing holiday). The cottage has everything one would need for a stay, there was also a welcoming tray with tea, coffee and Welsh Cakes, in the fridge was a bottle of milk. Views from the cottage were stunning. Pandy is ideally situated for exploring the Brecon Beacons and also Herefordshire. There are numerous walks available either from the cottage or a short drive from the cottage. Brecon is not too far away and a walk or cycle ride along the Brecon and Monmouth Canal is very rewarding. We would certainly recommend this property and hope to visit again. A few years ago we had a couple of visits to Cantref Coach House which is another delightful property. "

"We loved the cottage. It was the perfect escape to allow us to unwind. When we finally arrived (quite a bit later than we estimated) (the owners) had prepared the cottage beautifully. The directions were spot on and the only change we would make is to stay for longer. The location is ideal for exploring and we intend to visit again. There is so much to do. Your booking experience is smooth, concise and stress free. We spent a considerable amount of time looking at numerous websites for a holiday cottage that met our requirements. Our final choice was well made and your booking process completed the package perfectly. So, a big thank you to your team for organising the booking and (as we now have your print copy of holiday cottages) we'll be in contact for another trip soon."

"This holiday home was a one bedroom property for two people, however, it was very spacious and well equipped. As soon as I walked in I felt at home and comfortable. The surroundings and garden are beautiful and if I had come at a warmer time of year would have loved to have spent time out there. It is well off the beaten track so serenely peaceful, although not too far to visit various attractions locally. Abergavenny is only a 10-15 minute drive away, with a great town centre with many large outlets and supermarkets. During the week I stayed I was tempted to light the log fire, just for the good feeling a fire gives but the central heating was so good it was not necessary, in fact I several times had to turn the heating down."

"Of the many great places we have stayed at over the years this cottage has to be at or very near the top of the list. It has so much character and yet has all the mod cons you would every want. Bedroom sizes are very good and both have en-suites. We enjoyed using the Aga stove which has been on my list for years when we eventually move to the country ourselfs. It is a testament to the work the owners have put in over many years to bring it to the standard it is now.It is situated in a very quiet area so that when the weather is good you can eat out in the landscaped garden and enjoy the peace of the Welsh countryside. Walking in the local area is very good too I highly recommend a stay here if you are coming to this area."
