"What an amazing holiday we had. The owner let us know that we could go into S75212 early as the cleaner was to finish early. There were welcome extras. There was milk and bread, tea, coffee and sugar, salt, pepper, shortbread and fudge, dog treats, washing up liquid and cloth and tea towel and hand soap and toilet rolls. Such a lovely welcome and a lovely treat. S75212 cleanliness was excellent. There was a hairdryer, a dog bowl and dog towels. There was an excellent Dyson vacuum and tools, iron and ironing board, clothes pegs and rotary washing line.There was a new combi boiler which gave you loads of water almost instantly. The electric shower over the bath was good. The kitchen has a tiled floor and the hall is parquet. there is also a high standard of cleanliness throughout. There are also a good range of glasses, mugs, plates and dishes, cooking utensils and trays and oven dishes.The garden is secure to medium and above dogs. At night time the garden will light up if dogs need a last toileting before bedding down for the night. There is a garden table and chairs with a parasol. It is very quiet and the neighbour we met was lovely. There were no midges or flies.The food at Kingarroch Inn is delicious. There is also a file in the lounge that tells you all you need to know about S75212 and the surrounding area. The owners are also very quick to text you back with any queries you have. There is wifi and there is signal, for phones, mostly in the garden, but whats app is useful in S75212.Very enjoyable place to holiday."

"We've just returned from a week in the cottage, which sleeps up to four in two bedrooms - we were a smaller group of 3 + one dog. We chose this property for the location in a village with good amenities, as well as the secure entrance yard. We also had planned to travel with another couple, who would take the adjoining cottage, so this setting would work really well for a bigger group who wanted to maintain someone privacy or separate space.The village is beautiful and you have two parks, village shop, excellent butchers and two pubs within easy walking of the cottage. With small log burner, lots of space in the cottage lounge and dining spaces and two good sized bedrooms, this was a great choice for us. One long corridor connects all the spaces which gives lots of room for shoes, hanging space for coats. There was a great selection of DVDs fot cosy movie nights in and books to read. The parking space behind the cottage was perfect for us, even though the road nearby is quite quiet.Location is really well connected for travelling the area, visiting the Cairngorms, St Andrews, Pitlochry, Stirling, etc. and regular trains from Cupar (5miles away) mean you can choose not to drive. We’ll definitely be back again - a week wasn't long enough to see everything! :)"

"A nice 2 bedroom cottage with car parking at the door that we would gladly visit again.The location is good. On the main road through Upper Largo with easy access.The cottage is clean with a bathroom/Shower and a shower room.In terms of equipment, a well stocked kitchen with a wee back patio big enough to sit in and have a BBQ.We were left a wee box of treats for us and our dogs (Thank you Sue who showed us the ropes). There is abundant information about the house and local attractions etc.The Upper Largo hotel 100 mtrs along the road has a good pub with a decent menu. The walk down to Lower Largo and the beach is a 15 minute walk down the hill. There is a country path that can be accessed down the bottom of the hill down from the Upper Largo Hotel. The walk is safe for dogs and exits in the centre of Lower Largo.There are a couple of good pubs down at the beach. We became regulars of the Crusoe. The whole area is dog friendlyThe matress is a little soft for me (This is a personal preference) and a lighter summer Duvet would be appreciated (I know this is an extrordinarily hot summer)I would certainly recomend the area and the cottageWe will visit again"

"S87937 is spacious and well equipped, (very comfy beds!) and Andrew the owner was very helpful from start to finish. There are fantastic views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh and out to sea. We spent ages watching the ships coming and going or looking for seals and Dolphins, so take some binoculars! Car parking is just across the road and the railway station is less than 5 minutes walk with frequent trains into Edinburgh (40 minutes and £9 return) or north to Dundee and beyond. The beach is 2 minutes walk and located on the Fife coastal path so ideal for those wanting to wander further afield. Kinghorn has all the local amenities you need (shops/pubs etc) and Kirkcaldy is less than 10 minutes by car/train if you need more. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we are looking to stay in the area."

"The cottage was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed our quiet and peaceful stay in a beautiful location. The minor irritations seem hardly worth mentioning but there were some, and they seemed out of keeping with the general high standards - half the mugs were badly chipped and so we did not use them, leading us to sometimes run out of clean mugs altogether; the pans with the white enamel linings were badly stained and we soaked and scrubbed them to improve slightly but we did think they ought to be replaced; we bought some things like toilet rolls and washing-up liquid rather than bother the landlord but really we usually expect to see extra supplies in the property. Overall, it was a great holiday. Thank you."
