What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Mid Suffolk District To Rent.

"We had a lovely stay at S18025. There were 6 in our family group and sometimes we struggle with kitchen storage space. This was not the case at S18025 as the kitchen had more than enough cupboard space for our weekly shop. The accommodation was good and both twin rooms had plenty of space for the boys. It was also nice to have the different TV options as often these are limited to freeview only at places we have previously stayed. The swimming pool is brilliant and the owners had supplied an assortment of floats and equipment for the kids to play with. We were lucky and had superb weather for our 2 weeks but the indoor pool would be a real bonus in colder weather. We were able to visit a variety of attractions within a 30 minute drive including Banham Zoo, Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo, Flatford and Bury St Edmunds. We also went to Great Yarmouth for a day at the sea but that was a slightly longer drive. The only slight drawback was the flies but the owners had done everything possible to limit the impact, providing sprays and fly screens for the lounge. This seemed to control the impact and I suspect we were just unlucky with the combination of weather and harvest time making their presence more pronounced than normal. Overall a great property."

"This cottage is really lovely. The rooms are spacious, full of light and beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. It has French doors onto a patio which receives the sun all day and into early evening. Inside it had everything we needed and lots of little luxuries on top. The owner was on hand to help with any query but our privacy was complete. From it we visited many lovely places of completely different character from traditional seaside towns, to old country villages, wildlife reserves and the Abbey Gardens and churches of Bury St Edmunds. We are not big on dining out or visiting pubs so cannot comment on that aspect."

"S17886 is a very beautiful space to be in, a mix of old with new comforts. The garden is pretty large and an enclosed space and although it's next to the owner's home, it felt very private. The location is extremely quiet and the house very clean. The nearest pub and shop are about 1 and a half miles away in the heart of Hoxne. Walks and cycling can be done from the doorstep. It's a perfect rural retreat. Well within an hour of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Norwich and smaller places much closer such as Framlingham and Saxmundham. Duncan us a very friendly and helpful host. It's altogether a wonderful place to stay."

"We rented this cottage for a get together and couldn't fault it. The owners have clearly put in a lot of thought and it shows. Little details such as having tea and coffee provided along with milk and biscuits really set it apart. The cottage itself is really homely space and nicely furnished. The only slight downside is that for 10 adults is felt like a little bit of a squish but not enough to prevent us from coming back in future. It would be ideal for a party with a couple of less people or a large family with children."

"A Lovely holiday in the perfect position to see Suffolk. The welcome pack from Pauline was a extra bonus, she was so helpful and friendly who told us about places of interest and the community run pub,The Punch Bowl Battisford It was brilliant for days out Lavenham, Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge etc, but when back home in the lovely garden just watching the wildlife and the sun setting you were away from it all, We will be coming back again soon."
