"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in S37653. Surprisingly spacious, quirky & comfortable. Lovely peaceful location with views across the Suffolk countryside. Kids moaned a bit about how small their bedroom was but they were just being picky and miserable, they only needed to sleep in it! Think it was more the fact they had to share (11yr old boy & 6yr old girl). We found the whole site fabulous. If you love unusual accommodation you’ll love Brockford sidings it’s such a clever and fantastically designed site. With free use of the owners under cover swimming pool, sauna & hot tub, a 5 min drive away. You book a 1 hour private use slot, pool was lovely and warm, kids loved it. Lots of lovely pubs locally, we especially liked the Railway Tavern at Mellis. Think you could probably walk to a pub if you wished but may be a couple of miles. Overall we loved!"

"The location was delightful and there are facilities nearby where you can find essential supplies and fish and chips. The eggs left by the landlady were delicious. She also left a pint of milk ....thank youBUT. Although the dishes were sufficient for our needs, some of equipment e.g.pots and pans are old and of very poor quality and worn out. The furniture is old stained and worn out and the carpet is non too clean. There was no where in the flat where you could sit comfortably. However, The bed was comfortable. We had to move the furniture and the mirror to find somewhere you could sit to dry your hair or put on makeup. It is unfortunate that the toilet facilities were down stairs and didn’t look too clean but worked very well.We also shared the accommodation with unseen but noisy wildlife. Presumably , I hope, squirrels."

"This was our second stay at S60815. The first time was for four days following Breast Cancer Surgery and I needed a quiet retreat. This fitted the bill so well. It is so quiet there and the sky is so clear and free from pollution. It's a drive to local amenities and a further drive to a larger town but it suited us perfectly. Our second, longer, stay was just as perfect. This followed my cancer follow up treatment and, again, was just what I needed. It is so easy to sleep here with no noise except the usual countryside sounds. Just be careful not to bump your head in the bedrooms! A very nice development with everything you need and lovely country walks. Just perfect."

"S17856 was comfortable and the owners, who live next door were interested and pleasant without being obtrusive. Thorndon is pleasant with an excellent pub in the Black Horse and a useful community shop. The Wi-fi provided was good as were the TV and DVD player with a good selection of DVDs. The bathroom has adaptations for a disabled person. The WC is rather high with a block of wood to rest your feet on! Helpful printed information is provided. This is the first holiday cottage that I understood the central heating - so thanks to the owners for that. The place was comfortably warm. Parking was conveniently just outside the front door."

"We booked this cottage for a short, three night, break following Breast Cancer surgery and follow up treatment. We took our dog with us. It allowed us to catch up with friends and relatives as we used to live close byA very well designed and spacious cottage. Friendly owners that are there should you need any help or advice but not intrusive.Quiet location with no light pollution so ideal for star gazing!Ideal location, not far from Elmswell, close to Stowmarket and access to the A14 for Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and beyond. We are so impressed that we intend to book again later in the year for a longer period."
