"Lovely property, we can't fault it!. Days out included Hever Castle (very good and enjoyed by all ages) The Observatory Science Centre (this was the kids favourite) Bentley Wildfowl (who knew there were so many species of duck!) The Cuckoo Trail (good but quite hard work on the way back as up hill !) Kent & East Sussex Railway (this was fun) Tunbridge Wells (thankfully full of coffee shops to avoid the storms)The children would like to say thank you for the badminton rackets and cricket set, although Uncle Neil didn't share their enthusiasm so much ! All in all a lovely holiday.P.S. We recommend The Rose and Crown and Middle House in Mayfield for good food."

"We came to celebrate a 60th Birthday and Easter. The Oast house and farm reminded us all of our childhoods growing up on a farm in Herefordshire and there was also an Oast there. We loved staying here and enjoyed an egg hunt around the house and garden. We visited various National Trust properties and the Pooh Sticks Bridge. The surroundings are idyllic and the spring flowers and blossom beautiful. We saw bats flying from Oast Tower! We also enjoyed visiting the lambs and bulls and seeing the cute calves in the field. We talked to a duck nesting in corner outside the kitchen door by the house!."

"Our 55th Wedding Anniversary couldn't have been a better celebrated than in your lovely spacious house with our children and grandchildren. Very comfortable and well furnished, we loved the kitchen and the Aga and did some wonderful cooking on and in it! The countryside is magnificent and we were able to visit several pubs, castles, gardens as well as Chatham Dockyard. The children enjoyed playing hide & seek in this beautiful house and of course enjoyed visiting the sheep. We hope to return one day and we will certainly recommend to our friends."

"Just what we needed, an idyllic spot, breathtaking countryside and wonderful birdsong. There was a greater spotted woodpecker outside the kitchen on our arrival and on our last day. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute in this beautiful, well appointed home. I could get used to this sort of luxury!A marvelous place to find in the midst of a wonderful landscape of hills, valleys, woods, fields and streams. Such a well-appointed and modern equipped oast is the ideal place for a family to celebrate a 90th birthday! Must book now for my 100th!!!"

"After a 22 hour flight with four children, what a fantastic sight to see the Oast House! Beautiful facilities, bathrooms and kitchen. The kids thoroughly enjoyed playing soccer in the fields, not to mention the Easter Egg Hunt. This is a great location to explore the English countryside and Sussex and Kent attractions. Would really recommend Hever castle, Bedgebury, Drusillas, Wilderness Wood for kids. If you want to go to London park at Frant and get the train up. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality."
