"I am sad to report that the cottage is not up to standard. It felt unkempt and not properly maintained for the price paid and its rating. 1. Lights outside failed to work even after the electrician had fixed them. 2. lights inside - some failed to work and it was impossible to change them.3. Electric oven failed to reach temperature.4. Ring hobs would no turn off. Owner did replace oven and hobs..5. Electric fire lights didn't work. Electrician replaced bulbs but that evening flames came out of fire. Fires were replaced.6. Kitchen was not well equipped and all the knifes were blunt.7. Toilet wobbly.8. No window in second bedroom.9. No guidance book for information GP, emergency etc.10. No holiday leaflets.11. No radiators in bedrooms.Otherwise the cottage was warm and cosy in the living area and dining room. The views were fantastic and it was peaceful. However the price for week 2 more than doubled in price and the cottage didn't present the luxury of paying over £600. The owner did respond to the problems very well and offered a reduction for the second week."

"<strong>Not ever visiting St David's before, we were more than happy with our stay.</strong> The area, coastline and people were wonderful and our hosts at S87726, Mr and Mrs Morgan, were absolutely fantastic and we will definitely go back to stay at some point in the future. In addition, Ffion from Best of Wales was brilliant throughout - again, more thanks. If you want to walk the coastal paths, definitely take walking boots and a camera as you will hopefully see sealions and dolphins like we were lucky to see. If you take dogs, Whitesands beach does not allow dogs and costs about £3 to park even if not stopping long, however Nolton Haven beach is dog friendly and doesn't cost as much to park. The Saffron Restaurant does a great takeaway.. The Nisa store in St David's city was a great supermarket, could get most things you needed. There are lots of things to do and see, but we will return without our dogs at some point so we can do and see the things we missed."

"I did send an email from the property to the email address of the owner. No Response received which is disappointing and a lack of concern.Details refer to a Welcome pack. None found? No Guest information found, which we have always found this in the past holiday cottages or with a book to sign with regard to our stay.Worst problem was found in both bathrooms, strong damp mould smell, which was very strong in 3rd Child's bedroom. Distinct lack of ventilation! Which was of concern to myself as an asthmatic, it became so bad we left the cottage early.Basic items not available, usually found in holiday cottages. No Toilet brushes in both toiletsNo Plate drainer in the kitchenNo Tea Towels to dry dishesThe fridge seems to run non stop and was as cold as the freezer. Even on the minimum setting it froze eggs, lettuce etc. It may have a problem?A great shame as its a beautiful location, let down by lack of facilities and damp atmosphere."

"Cottage was in a beautiful, peaceful location with superb views, and all clean and tidily presented - but let down by some of the facilities. In particular, the property was cold (this was mid-March, with temperatures around 5-10 degrees C). There was no heating in either of the bedrooms, and the two large radiators in the lounge and dining room didn't work until late in the week when they mysteriously came on. There was no sign of any controls for this central heating (and no welcome pack with any instructions), so I guess this is governed by the larger adjacent property which was empty during our week. Regardless, the two small electric fires weren't sufficient to warm the whole building. In addition, it appeared that both the shower and the toilet in one of the bathrooms leaked slightly, leaving the floor damp. This is all a real shame, because the location is stunning, and the cottage could be perfect."

"Great for walking the Pembroke coastal path, seclusion and for just 2 people. The second bedroom & ensuite had only internal windows, which personally, I wouldn't have liked to have slept in, but the main bedroom was fine. The road to the cottage was quite long, but that gave it more exclusivity and a sense of adventure. It was a good quality Tarmac road, so no problem for any car, and parking was very close to the house. There was no direct access to the patio area from the house, you had to walk around the side of the house, but we used a window as a hatch for passing wine & nibbles through, which worked well, and well worth it for the views. The foghorn at the lighthouse (nearby, not attached to the cottage) operated 2 nights we were there, but wasn't very loud at all, and didn't bother us, likewise the light on the lighthouse."
