"We have stayed at S21235 for the last 5 years, but unfortunately we do not believe we will return next year, was really disappointed this year. The downstairs bathroom light didn't work, it wasn't the bulb, it was the actually light fittings were dodgy, so couldn't use the bath or bathroom after 4pm. The tumble dryer wasn't working which we were told the day before we arrived when we rang, we were told the people before us blew it up but also that no-one had been there the week before we went, so couldn't understand why they had not been able to replace the tumble dryer. It was wet and windy, so needed this facility. The path / private road leading to the house was extremely muddy, which wasn't a problem in itself, but the house does not have a mat inside the front door so if you go into the conservatory you leave mud and dirt on the carpet, but there is a cleaning bill if you leave it dirty. With the house being by the beach and the whole point of going to stay there is to walk the coast line, you would think common sense would mean a mat of some sort would be used. Otherwise you have to stand out in the wet and rain to take your shoes off and then have no where to put them. Luckily we brought items to start a fire, as there was nothing but a bucket of coal, no paper, kindling or matches. The house was very cold when we arrived. The upstairs showers were just a trickle and cold most of the time. There was no cleaning products to be able to clean the bathrooms etc, which would have been handy. The large comfy armchair which use to be in the conservatory is no longer there, there are 2 small sofa's and a small chair, but these were not high enough to be comfortable to stare out to sea for long. Overall, really disappointed, which is shame as we have had some lovely weeks in this house, but do not think we will go again."

"We loved S21236. Its comfortable, clean and was ideal for our break. Small kitchen with two electric hot plates, plus combined microwave & convection oven, which was adequate for our needs. Large bathroom, with great shower and loads of hot water always available. Heated towel rails. An extremely comfortable bed, and plenty of wardrobe space. The location is good, a short walk to the beach & St.Michaels Mount. Several local places to eat & interesting little Museum. Plus the bus stop is just at end of road. Recommend the open top tour bus to St.Ives to appreciate the stunning coastline. The patio area in Di’s beautiful garden is a lovely place to relax after a busy day. We received a very good welcome from Di, who is very helpful & friendly. Highly recommended 👍"

"We enjoyed our stay at Polgew, it was a good base for exploring the Penwith peninsular by car, bus or walking. The apartment is clean and well furnished with a lovely garden. The owners Diane and Graham are very friendly and helpful but sufficiently discreet. We encountered problems with television (particularly BBC), radio and wifi reception, which was patchy throughout but this may occur locally anyway. A small library of DVDs might have substituted for the loss of TV channels. Limited space in the kitchen meant no conventional oven which limited our cooking options. We felt, compared to other apartments and cottages we've stayed in, there was a shortage of information about the surrounding area. On the whole, we were very happy with our week there."

"A beautiful cottage, well presented and spacious upstairs and downstairs. With a gorgeous garden, the whole place was very toddler friendly. Our spaniel could escape under the gate or over the wall but luckily for us he chose not to.Easy to walk to the coastal path and to the nearest beach. Perfect location for exploring St Michael's Mount and out to Lands End. Spoilt for choice for day trips out in this stunning part of the country. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Our only negatives were the mattress in the main bedroom is a little uncomfortable, the springs now palpable. And the visitor book was quite limited in its information. But this remains the best cottage we have stayed in within the UK."

"A great place to stay. The apartment was clean and very well appointed. Ian and Dawn were very friendly and helpful and could offer advice on local tourist spots, restaurants and walks. The hot tub was a high point (certainly for our two children who were in it every morning and evening!). The only negatives were that we felt the need to try to keep the noise down for the sake of the people down stairs, and the lack of amenities within easy walking distance. That being said I would still highly recommend Sea View Loft. Is is perfectly place to explore the area by car and foot via the coast oath which is minutes away. A big thank you to Ian and Dawn, we had a wonderful holiday!"
