"Just got back from a really lovely 5 days in the cottage. Melvin and Louise were such welcoming hosts and were only a phone call away. The cottage is very cosy and a good location to drive to all amenities (I'd highly recommend an afternoon tea at the vintage bay tea rooms in Welshpool, Climbing Snowdon, a visit to Zipworld and a day in PortMerion). Additionally Melvin was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm and see all the lambs which was a lovely touch. Everything you may need is provided including lots of wood for the log burners! The hot tub was a lovely touch however we only used it once as it took an awful long time to warm up and in the chilly march evenings we weren't brave enough to get outside! The only other thing missing through no fault of the owners is a nice country pub down the road. Would highly recommended this cottage and would love to return in the future! A big thank you for having us :)"

"As a whole we all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. However we didn’t appreciate a visit from the owner at 08:00 on the Saturday morning, she came and inspected the hot tub, then came and spoke to members of the group. The hot tub felt cold when we went in it so obviously we turned it up. Which was apparently not allowed. This ‘inspection’ put us off using the hot tub again! As a group we have stayed in Many cottages with hot tubs, and have Never seen any owners. It felt like we were being monitored and we didn’t appreciate it!Apart from that the house was stunning, immaculate and we loved the log cabin. We had a beautiful welcome hamper which was appreciated. Every peice of kitchen equipment you could think of was there! We very nearly got snowed in, and we were offered to stay there no problem."

"Fabulous holiday cottage with just about everything you could wish for. A very thoughtful welcome basket on arrival, toys and games for all ages, every pot,pan ,plate and glass that you could need and more- super space, comfortable beds. The owners were very accommodating, our children wanted to surprise us and hire a hot tub for a few days, which they agreed to and which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool table offered us hours of competitive fun! There are lovely walks (detailed in the information book that is provided ) from right outside the front door.Unfortunately the local pub has closed down-the nearest is pub is about a 5minute drive away, S16993 is on a very busy main road so we thought walking was not advisable .Eight of us stayed at S16993 and eight of us would stay again!!"

"Spent a lovely weekend here with friends. The accommodation is of a very high standard and good quality furnishings and appliances. They have thought of everything you could need. The house is huge and the cinema room is amazing. We arrived to find a lovely welcome package which included a bottle of prosecco, crisps, eggs, oatcakes and welsh cakes, bread, butter and milk and fresh flowers. The location is next to a farm so wake up to see the sheep each morning. There wasnt much to do around the local towns but we only went out for an hour or two so wasnt a huge problem. The hot tub was great and we had a great time making smores in the artic cabin. All in all i felt they really did go the extra mile to make our stay a pleasant one. Would definately recommend."

"An very beautiful and cozy little cottage in Mid Wales. We had an lovely stay here, spend almost every night in the out door hot tub. Very nice spending time in the hot tub and looking up towards the stars. Fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was very tidy and nice. Only drawback was that the bath tube was quite small in height. Very friendly owners as well. The cottage was quite hard to find at first. We arrived at night time, so we drove up to the owners farm. But he told us the right way towards the cottage. At night when we slept the cottage made some cracking noises, but we got used to it. Otherwise it was a nice place. Just about 20 minutes drive to Welshpool where you had Morrisson, Tesco and other stores."
