"This was a lovely holiday rental. The house was beautifully furnished, and looked like it had been recently renovated so was very modern, clean and comfortable. The house had everything we needed, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas in the living room and a lovely garden with tables and chairs. The location is excellent, very close to Bewdley town centre, which has lots of shops and places to eat. I would also recommend a nice walk along the river where you can feed the ducks and watch the rowing boats. However, the house is at the top of a steep, long hill, which doesn't have a footpath down the whole way, so not ideal if you are less mobile. We had our toddler daughter with us, so we didn't attempt to walk down the hill to get in to the town and instead decided to drive. First thing in the morning this was fine and it was easy to find a parking space, but if you hit rush hour or late afternoon then the roads do get quite congested. Parking at the property was fine, it is on street and first come first served, but we always managed to find a spot and mostly right outside the front door. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. Just a note if you are bringing a travel cot with you - it won't fit in the smaller twin room but there is plenty of space in the double room. The house is also really close to local attractions such as the Severn Valley Railway, West Midlands Safari Park and Wyre Hill, where you can do the Gruffalo Trail. We had a great time at this property and would definitely come again and recommend to others."

"We enjoyed our 2 weeks at S24480 in June very much. The cottage is very well equipped with a beautiful garden. It was immaculate at our arrival and the owners thoughtfully left us a delicious welcome hamper. We appreciated how the cottage was full of historic character yet has modern features such as a new shower and appliances and fast wifi that made our stay easy and comfortable. The conservatory is a lovely warm place to sit when it is sunny but cool outside and the cottage stays pleasantly cool on hotter days. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything we needed for eating and cooking and also an excellent dishwasher to make clearing up easy. We liked having all the amenities of Broadway a short walk away but at the same time staying on a quiet road away from the busy-ness of the town. We enjoyed being able to walk along footpaths from the cottage up to Broadway Tower and through the Cotswold countryside to Snowshill and Stanton. Many of the most beautiful Cotswold towns and villages are just a short drive away and we had fun exploring them. We would highly recommend S24480 to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped historic place to stay in a beautiful Cotswolds location."

"I was looking for somewhere quiet to write and refresh myself from the pressures of work and this was a perfect haven. Mary and David can't do enough to make you welcome. The property was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything had been thought of. I appreciated the microwave for breakfast porridge. There was only one fine day, alas, but I made the most of it and had all three meals outside in the beautifully tended garden, with views of the Wyre Forest and Clee Hills. Robins, thrushes, blackbirds, coal tits, magpies and rabbits on the lawn! A pheasant came up to the French windows one evening. There is a great supermarket ten minutes away by car and a pub, The Bellman's Cross, ten minutes away on foot - sensational French cuisine. I visited charming Georgian Bewdley, imposing Ludlow Castle and Ludlow market (fabulous local cheeses and asparagus. Bridgnorth is fascinating too, with its High Town and Low Town and the quaint funicular railway connecting them. I even made a foray into Wales: Knighton (Powys) is just within the border. Try a steak and Stilton sandwich at the George and Dragon. A very peaceful stay. I shall miss the beautiful dawns and sunsets."

"Two main aspects : 1) The owners are very friendly and helpful. 2) The cottage is not suitable for elderly people, and this should be clearly stated in your description , e.g. the stairs are not just steep, but extremely steep. The access from the recommended parking is over grotesquely uneven cobbled area, slippery if wet. At the moment the area around the cottage is a building site, as a barn con version is going on immediately adjacent to the cottage. That mean that instead of rural tranquillity the visitors have the noise of heavy machinery all working day long. Why did you not tell us about this ?"

"S16340 needs a lot of money spent on it we arrived on the 7/9/18 and left on the 8//9/18 and came home it was supposed to be dog friendly but if you are worried about your dog and live stock then don't go there S16340 was surrounded by horses which is not mentioned in the advert for S16340 the enclosed garden was not totally enclosed dogs can get into fields with livestock or round to the owners house. so the only secure area is a small decking area outside S16340. S16340 itself is in need on updating or the furniture changed the bed knob has been glued so many times it would not stick so fell off all the time. the coffee table leg broken. the wardrobe was so rickety we didn't put anything in it the kettle would not work also the sky tv worked when it wanted to. and you have to swap cooker hob knobs for the ring to work. but the owner states it all works fine"
