"We've just returned from a week in the cottage, which sleeps up to four in two bedrooms - we were a smaller group of 3 + one dog. We chose this property for the location in a village with good amenities, as well as the secure entrance yard. We also had planned to travel with another couple, who would take the adjoining cottage, so this setting would work really well for a bigger group who wanted to maintain someone privacy or separate space. The village is beautiful and you have two parks, village shop, excellent butchers and two pubs within easy walking of the cottage. With small log burner, lots of space in the cottage lounge and dining spaces and two good sized bedrooms, this was a great choice for us. One long corridor connects all the spaces which gives lots of room for shoes, hanging space for coats. There was a great selection of DVDs fot cosy movie nights in and books to read. The parking space behind the cottage was perfect for us, even though the road nearby is quite quiet.Location is really well connected for travelling the area, visiting the Cairngorms, St Andrews, Pitlochry, Stirling, etc. and regular trains from Cupar (5miles away) mean you can choose not to drive. We’ll definitely be back again - a week wasn't long enough to see everything! :)"

"A really lovely lodge. Absolutely spotless. Could have eaten off the floor. The bedding was also lovely - however all of us struggled with the thinness of the mattresses. The shower in the main bathroom is a total nightmare as the water pressure is so strong the shower head roams around by itself. The water was absolutely everywhere on more than one occasion. The hot tub was a dream and we spent many hours in the there. But that wooden deck is a so so slippery (there are warning signs around) but we all really struggled with how slippy it was. The heating was also really difficult to manage and seemed to have a mind of its own. You are really out of the way staying here - we definitely under estimated how remote it was. There is no phone signal at all in the lodge, however there is wifi available. Kitchen had everything you could think of and more. Overall we were very happy with our holiday and would recommend to others."

"This is a cottage that would be wonderful for disabled people of all abilities. The bedrooms all have garden views. The bathrooms were spotless and well thought out. There was enough space to move, which is important when you're disabled or don't like to bump your elbows on the walls! The whole cottage's layout was really good. If you didn't want to be disturbed by the TV you could sleep in the bedroom at the opposite end of the bungalow. The walls are very thick so sound didn't travel far. There was a substantial welcome pack, which always puts a smile on my face - I don't have to go searching for the tea bags immediately on arrival! The area was very quiet. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The information in the cottage about places to see and eat was very informative. We'll definitely return."

"We took our dog and we were relieved to find that the garden was very secure and spacious enough for us all to enjoy. Conversion sympathetically done, good use of space. Kitchen is small though but adequate if rather tired looking. Plenty of utensils but we found the cutlery, especially the knives not fit for purpose! Great location for local activities and attractions and well situated for others further afield. Proprietors are friendly and helpful but give you space and privacy to enjoy your holiday as you wish. It is located on a working farm so keep that in mind. There are barking dogs on occasion and obviously farm vehicles moving around but seems to be kept to a minimum, didn't spoil our holiday. On the whole a lovely relaxing place to stay with plenty to do if you so desire."

"Excellent accommodation, stunning location , friendly owners what more can you ask for when going on holiday. Fiona and Andrew had provided a welcome tray with coffee, bread ,butter and milk. Weather turned out to be the best the area had had in a while which was great for a walking holiday (maybe a little too warm for walking but better than rain). When we arrived Fiona came across and welcomed us to the stunning cottage and gave us some local information about the area which helped us decide where to go on our walks. Altogether a fantastic holiday and would recommend this accommodation ."
