"S5337 is an old big house with big rooms. It is built on the ruins of the original manor house which was built at least 400 years ago and some of the ruins are still in the garden which gives it a lot of character. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and had every thing we needed. We stayed for a week and went out every day. The weather was better than we expected and generally better than forecast. Tenby is a lovely town to wonder through. Penralt is a very good garden centre in the north of Pembrokeshire with a lovely drive to get to it. We had a lovely drive exploring the coast from Saundersfoot to Pendine and then on to Pembury Country park. St. David's Cathedral exceeded our expectations and it also serves a lovely lunch. We highly recommend a visit to the Welsh National Botanical Gardens. Stackpole Estate including Bosherton lily lakes and Broadhaven South and Barafundle beaches are lovely places for walking - you could easily spend more than a day here. We highly recommend the cottage and the area."

"First impression was that the cottage looked tired and the outside paintwork was not a bright as in the photos. It didn't get any better as you walked through the front door as there was a damp smell.I know it's a very old cottage but some decent air fresheners would have helped.Another more unpleasant smell appeared from time to time,it seemed to be after flushing the toilets. Some of the rugs need a clean or just removed, paint work pealing in places.A couple of odd things like the bedside lamp lead cannot reach the nearest socket and a lampshade missing, which I later found in the wardrobe, which itself had its backboard come away.Out side in the yard there was a constant dripping overflow pipe and the games room was just dingy. On a positive note the beds were comfortable enough and the location, two decent pubs nearby were very friendly and served very good food and a great view of the castle to wake up to.Overall this should be a fabulous cottage,it just needs some TLC."

"S5337 was very comfortable with plenty of space and all the facilities you would expect in a holiday cottage. We enjoyed the choice of two living rooms and were able to relax in comfort. The bedrooms and bathroom were a good size and the kitchen had all the modern comforts. We enjoyed sitting and playing in the garden when the weather allowed. The clothes line in the back garden was useful for drying clothes. The location was close to a supermarket for provisions and well located for exploring all parts of Pembrokeshire. There was nowhere really to walk so a car was essential. There is so much to see and do in this region. Our daughter loved the Blue Lagoon Water Park which was a godsend on rainy days. There are lovely towns to explore like Tenby, Haverfordwest, Narberth and St Davids as well as a beautiful coastline and beaches like Barafundle and Whitesands. The owners live next door and were very welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back one day."

"One of the nicest holiday cottages we've ever been to. It was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. We loved being able to open the patio doors when the weather was good and drink in the view. Also enjoyed having two lounges and two TV's which was good for different age-groups. Heated towel rails in both bathrooms helped to dry swimming towels out after the beach which was only a short drive away. Everything had been thought of - clean washing up brush, tea-towels, washing up liquid, pegs, cling film, sandwich boxes, cupboard space for food, hangers in wardrobes - I know it sounds trivial but I've been to places with none of these! Highlights of our holiday were a speedboat trip with VentureJet near St Davids and coasteering which was massive fun. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Lovely cottage and we would stay here again and recommend. We had a couple of issues with electricity going off so some food in 'fridge was spoiled (my smoked salmon!).. Owners came straight out after we 'phoned them (had to drive up the road to do so as no signal on mobiles (see below)) and, after the second issue, brought us some freshly laid eggs from their chickens. Nice touch! They also left us a bottle or red wine for our arrival.I was concerned that there was no landline and no mobile phone signal at the cottage and, if one had required emergency services, a 5 minute drive to get a signal would be required. Dongle did not work either. I thus think a landline should be installed if possible.Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay here in this lovely location."
