What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Lower Beeding To Rent.

"A lovely place to stay for wonderful walks along the beach, the Undercliff Walk, straight down to Brighton Marina and Brighton Town Center. Just as well you can go for long walks in the countryside. The Cottage itself is beautiful and in a very good state. All electrical equipment is in a perfect state, Wifi is top. The bathroom is small, but nice and the shower works like a charm. Beds are perfect and the enclosed garden is a lovely place to enjoy a good cup of coffee or a nice BBQ. Rottingdean itself is very traffic polluted, moving along the streets as a pedestrian isn´t very pleasurable.Parking in the garage should be easy for Smarts or Minis, but not for SUVs. But there is enough free parking space up the road. Mind you, a long way up the road... ;-) No, it´s ok, you might have to walk 200 m or so.Once we had parked our car, we left it there all week and got us a Network Saver Bus ticket for roundabout 22 GPB a week. Cheaper and much more pleasurable than going into town by car.Would we come back to Rottingdean and S26240? Yes, any time!"

"The big plus about this cottage is the wonderful location, perched atop a cliff with lovely views to the south over the channel and to the west along the coast, where we saw some amazing sunsets.Large property with secure decked area to patio doors to front and beyond a secured mainly turfed garden. This was ideal for our 2 small dogs. Parking for 2 cars directly outside and property accessed by gravel road. Spacious lounge, adequate kitchen, decent size bedrooms and main bathroom. We didn't use the games room upstairs. The negatives were that when we arrive the place smelt of dogs, and although we have dogs, this smell was off putting. Soon had windows open and bought and used air fresheners which did the trick. Everywhere was clean, but the kitchen was dirty. Previous occupants had left a dirty greasy oven, dirty microwave, some cutlery marked and oven and work tops not clean. We had to spend a bit of time with soap and water to make it clean, which we shouldn't have to do.Otherwise a nice property in great location."

"We had the best week ever staying in S26240. It is so well situated everything we could need within range. The cottage is comfortable the beds were great the shower brilliant. My son would have liked some sort of wardrobe even a hanging rail in his bedroom he couldn't unpack his case. The single room has just a few hangers and wall hooks.A couple of light bulbs were out and we couldn't get the oven hot enough to cook then we got the top grill to work and promptly burnt the pizza! I couldn't see the smoke alarm however I'm sure there must be one. These things did not interfere with our enjoyment of rottendean and our stay was comfy and the garden of the cottage very nice. Good seating and large parasol."

"We were attending a function in Lewes and decided it would be an opportunity to explore the area. The weather was indifferent initially but soon settled and there were plenty of dry days, albeit quite cold and windy! Bus to Brighton was great - enjoyed another visit to the Pavilion and the Gingerman restaurant is highly recommended. Great visit to Charleston, home of members of Bloomsbury group. Rottingdean itself rather disappointing - suffers in comparison with Brighton, of which it is now really a suburb - but there is an excellent butcher and an excellent greengrocer/grocer plus the ubiquitous Tesco local."

"Exactly what I needed after knee surgery at the McIndoe Centre. The cottage is really cosy and comfortable and really well equipped. Joan and Jim are lovely people - very welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the gift of a bottle of fizz and cakes - so thoughtful. The cottage was the perfect place for me to recover from my knee replacement - lying on the comfy bed with the bedroom door open, listening to the birdsong, was just what the doctor ordered. Such a beautiful and peaceful place with gorgeous grounds - perfect for hobbling around on crutches."
