"Beautiful apartment and location! Tranquil and serene are the perfect words to describe the stay. The apartment is so cosy and well-designed especially the bed at mezzanine level. The view of sea and valley with waves sound crashing on the shore is so relaxing (open the windows and the fresh breeze is so uplifting and refreshing). We met resident couple and it was so lovely taking to them and knowing more about the history of building and town. The owner ensures to personally welcome you or at least meet you during your stay. The main highlights of the stay:1. Walk to the town Aberystwyth by the beach and some really nice places to eat (as we are vegetarian so restaurant Medina is our favourite and their collection of books)2. Walk by the river and if the water level is not high then experience of swings on the river (stole my heart)3. Constitution funicular rail experience and the views of coast and town are breathtaking (enjoy nice meal at the cafe too)4. Vale of Rheidol steam train ride is worth the view and experience (two hoots cafe cakes are yum)5. Devil's Bridge Falls and walk - ensure to take long walk approx 45 - 60 minutes (keep in mind about steep steps and natural mountain trail) We're definitely going back to explore more of Wales and making our base at Plas Tanybwlch :)"

"There is a marvelous view of Aberystwyth and the sea from the cottage, and you can watch the golfers on the other side of the valley. S27043 was very well equipped, and had a wide choice of books, DVDs and childrens games in case of inclement weather. The television had all the freeview channels, plus a good range of movies on demand which were available without further payment. The internet worked well, and there is a very strong mobile signal. The property is accessed by a narrow road which serves several other properties, but has limited passing places. Care must be taken, as in some places there are steep drops at the side of the road if you stray off the tarmac surface. I would say that a car is essential as you need to drive into Aberystwyth to get to the shops. There is a way you can walk from the cottage to the attractions at the top of the cliff railway, but it is not a direct route. We had a pleasant stay, our dog was well catered for, the owner was friendly, and had three old English sheepdogs himself. We have no hesitation in recommending this property"

"What a lovely holiday home with the added bonus of being very dog friendly with a safe (and well thought out) garden. It is obviously a loved family home, well equipped and there are clear instructions which were useful. We had a mix of ages from 21 to 84 and everyone rated the house very highly. The location was close to amenities and of course giving easy access to all the sights of Ceredigion and north Pembrokeshire. The only slight negative was access to the driveway - it is very tight and would suit smaller cars, we couldn't in fact get our car into the parking area. We would highly recommend S80531 however for the comfortable rooms, super garden and attractive space."

"This is a fantastic house to rent for large groups. It has big ,well equipped rooms, comfy beds and is set in beautiful surroundings. The owner was very helpful and gave us a personal tour when we arrived. It is a country farmhouse in style and you need wellies in wet weather if you want to explore the grounds. If I wanted to look for negatives it might be that you are sharing the grounds with the owners' family, Who in no way interfere but you are not on your own and they have their own traffic coming and going to their workshops. It just meant we had to closely supervise dogs and children.Also..be aware that pampered pooches are not allowed upstairs or in bedrooms."

"An amazing place for a large group to stay. Exceptional weather so the outside patio and playing field were well used. The accommodation was excellent and very well equipped. The owners were friendly and very helpful. Lots of wildlife and farm life around. A short drive to the coast. Very safe for children. We were there as a large family group of several generations to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have found a better place to tick all the boxes for everyone involved."
