"Located in a quiet village next to the Brecon Abergavenny Canal. This bungalow has 7 bedrooms along with several other rooms to accommodate a large family. There is also plenty of parking spaces along with good security of electric gates. There is a Tesco, Lidl and Waitrose supermarket in nearby Abergavenny town and a small shop in Govilon for your daily papers and bread. Tafarn a Bont is a friendly village pub serving food. The house has a modern kitchen with a dishwasher. The main attraction for kids were the swimming pool and hot tub. There was also a Man Cave next to the hot tub with a tv. Washroom towels and pool towels are provided. An ideal base for a large family to discover this beautiful part of Wales. I would recommend visiting Big Pit, Abergavenny Market and hiring a boat to experience the nearby canal. When we complained of a smell around the pool area, the owner immediately arranged for an engineer to sort out the problem fair play. There is a convenient foot path from the property to the village. Although it was a bit overgrown, it was still quite a handy short cut."

"We spent 3 nights in S50553 celebrating mine and my wife’s 50th Birthday, as soon as we walked in we knew we were in for a good time, the rooms were all good sizes comfortable and clean, we made good use of everything the kitchen was used to its max as one of our friends who loves to cook and had everything he needed to feed seventeen of us morning, noon and night. I don’t think the hot tub and pool was ever empty, and the younger members loved the man cave. There was plenty of instructions around the house to help you to have great stay, and plenty of pool towels for all the guests to use. We didn’t really leave the house only to stock up on some food items. The views from all over the house were breathtaking and I’ve got to say that we had a Birthday weekend that me and my wife will never forget. We had good contact with the owners who were very helpful and had our full bond refunded with no problems, we are hoping to return again next."

"The cottage was very clean and had all the facilities that we needed to make it a home from home experience. It was amazing that over Christmas we had a lovely tree and fab decorations that the hosts had provided, this made it extra special. The hosts were very pleasant and looked after all our needs before, during and post the stay. The grounds of the cottage were lovely and the children of all ages (young to teenagers) liked exploring it. The house was perfect for all ages to stay in, and our welcome pack was a lovely start for the Christmas holidays. Many thanks again for this amazing place to stay, beautifully clean and lovely ambience, and with a bonus of 2 dishwashers !S121117 is a beautiful, interesting and comfortable house enhanced by the lovely grounds and facilities. The pool was a bonus and enjoyed by most. The owners were extremely accommodating and it was like home from home. We would definitely stay there again!"

"!) within a lovely field with lots of wild life... what more could you want! Nicole has created an amazing place to stay and was so welcoming - we personally had a terrible journey causing us to be late checking in, but Nicole was so understanding and really helped us continue our holiday. Once we arrived we instantly understood this was a special place - we were able to take walks straight from the cabin, eat our meals out on the decking in the sun and spend cosy evenings warm in front of the telly (when the English weather came!). It's a great base location for various walks around the Brecon Beacons and beyond - we even made it to the Pembrokeshire Coast one day. We couldn't speak more highly of this place and have already recommended it to family, friends and colleagues - we cant wait to come back!!"

"What can we say,a very warm welcome on arrival, we were delighted when we saw the S105082!. It is set on the edge of a most beautiful field with its own fenced off area, which was ideal for our little dog tilly. Inside the carriage everything was beautiful Co ordinating and cosy.it was very well equipped with everything you needed.the bathroom consisted of a shower, toilet and washbasin. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of lovely walks along the canal and old railway line which were just a few steps away. On the edge of a lovely little village. We enjoyed eating out in the local pubs which were all dog friendly. The whole experience of our five day break was relaxing and tranquil, we will most definitely return. Gail and Pete,Cheshire."
