What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Llanfair Yn Neubwll To Rent.

"S22306 is a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. Sitting on the hillside, this tranquil cottage is surrounded by magestic Peaks and has unbeatable views across rolling hillside, on down to the sea. Inside, the cosy wood burner brought cheer and warmth to the sitting room, whilst the kitchen provided ample space for the two of us and had all the bits and pieces we needed. The bedroom is a fine size, though a more comfortable mattress would have been welcome. We were missing a few essentials on arrival - hand soap and loo roll - similarly a few logs for the fire would have been welcome. We had a great week walking the coastal path, visiting local historic houses, drinking beer at a local brewery and cosying up inside. Expect to travel 20/30 mins for a decent pub (any pub!) for dinner. Overall, we had a wonderful week, and with a few minor tweaks, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Thank you!"

"We had strong winds while we were there which revealed just how drafty the place was. So although the heating was on it was quite cold upstairs - especially in the bathroom - when the wind was blowing. The walls are thin so you hear people from next door. The kitchen floor was not clean. The sitting room is comfortable and has lovely views.Couldn't get the downstairs TV to work.We could not use the backdoor because it was broken and had not been repaired. I rang on the evening we arrived to ask for the back door key. The call was returned next day, to say the key had been hidden so we couldn't attempt to open the door. There was no note to explain the situation.I am sure we would have enjoyed it more in better weather - though we wouldn't have been able to use the garden."

"The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location - perfect for us - lots of walking. However, the cleaning wasn’t the best and there were quite a few outstanding maintenance issues - only 1/4 TVs working, garden furniture needed a good scrub and wasn’t at all comfortable for sitting out enjoying the views, the front door handle was broken, a lot of the crockery chipped or broken, the decked patio area isn’t finished off. When reported to the caretaker - she offered to get cleaning issues resolved immediately but repairs wouldn’t be done during our stay. Not what you would expect from a 5 star property when previous guests have reported these faults earlier."

"In the write up local facilities sounded much better than they were... there is no longer a pub or anywhere to eat in the village. The local shop was very tiny & we were glad we had made an online order for food! The directions to the cottage were very ambiguous and we had to stay in all Monday morning waiting for a replacement washing machine as the owners said they had no one local to wait in!!This did not impress us and we felt rather put out to say the least!!However the location made up for a lot"

"The cottage was excellent, being spotless, with excellent furnishings and décor, fixtures and fittings. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. This is a very peaceful location, with easy access to the Lleyn Peninsula and Porthmadog, Beddgelert etc. with superb scenery in the whole area. We would also recommend the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railways with their spectacular views etc. The whole of North Wales is worth visiting."
