"Set in 6 acres of lovely gardens/woodland, this is a perfect retreat for those who enjoy the good things in life. Frankly, this isn't really a holiday cottage, but more like staying at a well appointed country hotel. The views are wonderful, it's very quiet (but not cut off), and the cottage is tastefully decorated throughout. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, as well as a wonderfully stocked kitchen. You could have held a good size party in the kitchen, and still not have run out of glasses...(and trust me we tried most nights). The Aga was a joy to cook on, and we cooked a wonderful beef Sunday lunch. All of the rooms are of a good size, although we spent a lot of time in the kitchen! Wonderfully comfortable beds, perfect after an evening of eating and drinking (mainly drinking!). We were a little concerned that the owners were on site, as we enjoy our privacy, but do not be put off! John and Nic were fabulous hosts, there to welcome you upon arrival, and nearby should you need them. However, the cottage is very private, and you aren't even aware of anybody else being present on the estate. This is a first class establishment, and is without doubt one of the most perfect cottages that we have ever been lucky enough to stay in. There is absolutely no doubt at all, that when we return to North Wales, Bwthyn Morse will be the first place on out shortlist. A shortlist of one. If you are looking for an incredibly well appointed cottage, with the cosiness off a wood burner, in a tranquil spot, look no further, because you have just found it."

"Three of us have just returned from a fantastic week at Bwthyn Morse. John and Nicole were fabulous hosts who felt like friends by the end of the holiday. They went well beyond expectations to make sure that we had a wonderful time. The house itself is beautiful and nestled in an attractive setting of woodland, gardens and fields. A cross country walk leads to a local beach. Our four year old daughter loved the zip wire in the orchard and we had great fun playing tennis. The house is elegant and the feel is of being in a boutique hotel although the spacious kitchen is more warm and cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped with pretty much everything you could wish for to make self catering easy. All in all, a magical place with warm, friendly and caring hosts. We can’t wait to return."

"Spectacular views looking over Llandanwg beach and Shell island. The games room was a particular hit with the children.Several wonderful sandy beaches within easy walking distance. Beautiful views from the house and great walks all around. The house is very spacious, comfortable and superbly equipped with quality new furnishings throughout. Lovely to use the sauna and hot tub after a day's walking and there is a good games room. A great stay, thank you.Accommodation exceeded expectations. Only disappointment was hot tub smaller than expected 3 person. But probably due to my personal one being 7 person. Very well equipped and useful leaflets left with information for guests."

"We just had a fabulous week in Wales, my first time, and we chose to stay in Lanfair. The acommodation was lovely, all on one level, bit like being in a caravan. There is a roof terrace which we used a lot as the weather was so nice. Although the rooms didn't have a washing machine, we had access to one and a freezer. The owners met us as we got out of the car and gave us a lovely warm welcome. We saw them every day, but they didn't interfere. Just asked if we needed anything. Really lovely friendly couple and if we decide to visit that part of Wales again we will definitely stay there. Thanks to them my first experience of Wales was perfect. Highly recommend."
