"This cottage is on a working farm, with the owners living next door. They are so friendly and welcoming, and allowed the children to help with bottle feeding the lambs and calves, which they absolutely loved! The resident dog, Bisto was always awaiting our return from days out with a wagging tail and a furry tummy waiting to be tickled! The cottage itself is clean and adequate for 6 people with two double rooms and a spacious twin. Points for improvement: bed in front room could do with a new mattress- was not the comfiest, could feel the springs. A hoover would be good, and an airer or tumble dryer to dry clothes (although we were quite lucky with the sunshine and we were allowed to use the owners washing line on request!) The shower only ever got luke warm and was not very powerful (although the water from the taps was VERY hot!) The wardrobe in the twin room was locked with no key.The positives: the location is great for getting to Aberystwyth and Cardigan and everywhere in between for day trips. There are some fantastic beaches and places to go nearby. The owners (and animals) are lovely and great with kids.Kitchen is full of everything you need, and lounge is comfortable. WiFi was a welcome addition for the kids! Overall a lovely last minute break with family, creating lots of memories - we would return and recommend!"

"This was our second visit & our last.We paid £700 yet decided to leave early losing money !!Welcome pack consisted of one stale cake, 1 pint of milk. They left one toilet roll ..First thing we had to do is go shopping for toilet rolls, fairy liquid .. fly spray !!!We expected flies being on a working farm but they moved two donkeys from the pack into a field so close to the cottage that the braying of the donkeys woke us at first light and the flies from the manure was huttendous !! No exaggeration!!Also they allowed a large vehicle towing a caravan with two large dogs aboard to camp right under our main bedroom window ..could hear every sound from them..Also they need to sack their cleaner ..the only good things were the cobwebs that caught the flies ..Windows & corners filled with cobwebs !!So NO ... we will not be returning and lost £100 just to come home early !!!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay, what a find. On arrival there was a very warm welcome and a delicious welcome pack. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The kitchen has all the equipment required for cooking, all in top order. The bed is extremely comfortable for a cozy nights sleep. The bedroom has a good sized wardrobe and lots of drawer space. The bathroom is large and has a separate bath and shower.A fully enclosed garden is a sun trap when the weather is right. We had a dog with us and she was perfectly safe in the garden. There are lots of beautiful beaches within 20 miles, we visited 12 different beaches over four days, there are some beauties within 7 miles. Inland there are interesting towns and castles to visit. We can highly recommend this cottage."

"It’s difficult to review this for the following reason. We had booked a cottage the previous week but had not been informed that our first choice cottage had been double booked. We only found out by chance when traffic delay meant our arrival was going to be after 7:00pm upon calling the owner we then found out we had nowhere to stay. So this cottage was all that was available it setting was more rural than we were expecting and further away. All this aside however this cottage was in a very tranquil location with superb view over countryside. The cottage provided a very relaxing atmosphere. The patio was a delight with no light pollution so good views of the stars also lack of light pollution gave us brilliant nights sleep very relaxing. Overall we enjoyed this cottage and would return."

"Dol Llan is a quaint little cottage in Langrannog. Llangrannog is very small but beautiful seaside village. Not many Welsh people or Welsh language going on there. The cottage is quite a way back from the beach. It is maybe a good 30 minutes walk to the beach. The cottage had everything we wanted or needed. But there is very little if any food basics in the cottage and the shop was closed for the winter, so go prepared. We didn't want to bring food from London, we wanted to spend our money locally. But with no shop we had to buy some milk from the pub.The cottage smelled a bit damp on our arrival, but we soon had the fire going and the heating on. All in all it was good value for money. And we enjoyed our stay."
