"Iola is a delightful, old cottage approached by a flight of steep steps (the only downside really) above a road above Llandudno town. There is a very pleasant terrace where you can sit and have your meals or a drink etc. overlooking a wonderful view of Little Orme, the Conway estuary and Llandudno itself. In spite of its closeness to the town, it is beautifully quiet, apart from the odd calling seagull. The kitchen and rooms are well equipped, and to us it had everything we needed. There is a stable door to the cottage, and we found this very useful as it was a hot week, and we were able to sit with the top of the door open until late into the evening which was lovely. The bedroom was quite large and the bed comfy, just to my taste as I prefer a harder rather than soft bed. The only things we could fault was the TV which for some reason occasionally had a tantrum and the picture would go. This happened on three evenings in the middle of our break, but after that it suddenly seemed to right itself and behaved perfectly for the rest of our stay. Also the handle on the grill pan had broken, but this was nothing to worry about really. The bathroom was maybe a wee bit on the small side, but in an old cottage like Iola you wouldn't expect a huge bathroom. It was fine for us anyway. We'd certainly recommend the cottage to anyone who was fit enough to climb the stairs, and liked peace and quiet. Our neighbours were friendly too."

"This Cottage is a big spacious house & is very modern for it’s age with a very modern kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine & very big range cooker. The owners left us milk, eggs & a big welcome basket with fruit, bread, crisps & cake in, this was very generous & a lovely surprise for us. The lounge has a massive tv on the wall & plenty of modern roomy seating. The views from the Windows are stunning & we would have got awesome pics if they were cleaned. The downside to this cottage is the strong smell of mould upstairs in all the bedrooms & the mould is very visible on the windows & blind upstairs. I understand it’s a very old cottage but if it was kept cleaner & warmer upstairs the mould would not be able to grow! The owners should consider putting air fresheners around to help with the mould smell. The downstairs toilet also smells strong of mould probably needs bleach put down sink & shower outlet. The advert for this cottage said room for one car but they don’t say it’s an extremely steep narrow public pathway & they park their mini at the top of it, so no room for another car to safely park! it’s safer to park on the street & walk up to the cottage."

"Enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at this beautiful cottage. We were greeted by a basket of complimentary goodies, including fruit, biscuits, eggs, crisps and even a small cuddly toy for our 2 yr old granddaughter. There was also fresh milk in the fridge. Absolutely stunning views of coastline, hills and countryside from the huge bay windows in the lounge and master bedroom. Very comfy beds and lots of Welsh fresh air made for a great nights sleep. The kitchen was adequately equipped although the range cooker/oven took a little getting used to. A perfect spot for exploring The Orme, Llandudno and the surrounding areas. The driveway up to the cottage is quite steep and narrow but this wasn't a problem with our average sized car. We were contacted by the owner, Daniel when we arrived and when leaving to ask if everything was alright, which was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at S74707. Will definitely make a return visit!"

"We stayed here end of August 2016. It was really comfortable and cosy. It had everything needed, the only thing I missed was a radio. There were five of us, one adult and four children. I have two children with autism and it proved a lovely quiet retreat, they were very relaxed there. The car broke down the day we got there but it wasn't a problem as it was in the perfect position to explore the Orme and walking distance into town. They also provided a load of information and tourist leaflets and a choice of DVDs, mostly for adults but a few for children. We spent the days out and about and the evenings watching DVDs snuggled up. One of my children suffers from allergies and it was good to find a kitchen with everything required to cook proper meals. The only thing that would put me off is hill up to the cottage, my car (a big old heavy car) just couldn't cope with it.A lovely stay thank you."

"Me and my husband spent a week in this cottage full of charactor. It was very well equipped with everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable with great views from the main bedroom window. The cottage is located with the tram station at the bottom of the road which takes people up and down the great Orme. You can also get the cable car from near Llandudno pier but we walked as it was sunny and the views were well worth it.The main town and Llandudno pier are a short walk away with a massive choice of places to eat and pubs. The Local places such as Conway, Angelsey, Betws-y-coed and Snowdonia national park are easily reached by car,bus or train. We had a brilliant stay and would definately recommend it to anyone going to North Devon."
