"What a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The pictures do not do justice to this property. We were a party of five adults and one well behaved dog, looking for a cosy comfortable property to celebrate a 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. The lounge is large and comfortable, and the wood burner kept us nice and warm when the weather turned cold. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, as well as enjoying meals at the local pubs The Royal Oak and The Towy Inn. This village and its residents are the most welcoming to visitors, both human and four legged that we have ever come across in our travels. We loved the views from the dining room whilst eating breakfast, watching the sheepdogs in the fields with the sheep. We also were delighted by the Hawks and birds that frequent the garden. Angela, the owner gave us advice on walks and we were not disappointed, in particular the walk around the dam and reservoir were exhilarating and well worth a visit. The cottage bedrooms are furnished with quality bed linen and towels and the beds are so comfortable and stylish. We all fell in love with this cottage and would definitely visit again for another family get together."

"We got a few weeks in advance a perfect route description to achieve the stay. With google maps you can also find it perfect. The house is very spacious, really very spacious! Nice large living room with 3 seats and large television. Very large kitchen with everything you need to cook a game. The rooms are also large enough, only the 2 beds what a bit narrow. I think about 1.40m. If you are not used to that, it's customizing. The bathroom was also in order. Maybe an extra hook for clothes to hang and a cupboard to put something or put away. The jacuzzi is also fun to use. The temperature was too high for us (37.5 degrees) but it was cool to do. There are all kinds of leaflets and maps to do things in the area. We also used it. I also received a brochure in advance which gave us a discount for certain accesses of, for example, the botanical garden. The environment is simply beautiful! We were also very lucky with the weather, but 1 day pouring rain on 8 days. In any case, we enjoyed Wales, it was as we expected it."

"We were very warmly welcomed by the owner who gave us a tour through the very complete, cozy cottage. By some nice touches, such as milk, tea and coffee and a nice bottle of white wine in the fridge and a bottle of red on the counter, we felt right "home ". After a week, Ms. Davies was (owner) on the sidewalk with a large laundry bag full of fresh linen and towels, although there was present a washing machine. A pleasant surprise. We ourselves had actually nothing having to clean everything went back again. R nA beautiful area with lots of sheep, waterfalls and quaint seaside villages further away. Cardiff also has a cozy center and beautiful castle is well worth a visit."

"Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings but if your on holiday with dogs I would look at a cottage closer to the beach as we had 2 dogs and we had to drive out very day because there was not many dog walks. There was no signal so if you wanted to use your phone you had to drive out which is a total pain. The stair case in the cottage is not suitable with dogs but my dogs nearly fell down them as there very slippery. The farmer was lovely and when we arrived there was homemade cakes and tea bags so this was very nice. I would recommend this property but if you've got dogs I would choose somewhere near to the beach or more central."

"The isolated location was great for star gazing. We even saw shooting stars! Watching the kites being fed was wonderful. But after 3 nights we couldn't see the skies as it was cloudy and the moon was high. And even though we knew in advance there were no shops or pubs for miles, I felt we were a bit too isolated. Mobile phone signal was weak but that had some benefits! We saw wild ponies crossing the road one evening. They were fabulous. The accommodation was lovely. Very well equipped. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. Even though it was cold outside, we were very cosy inside."
