"We had a fantastic week at the cottage. Andrew and Karen were very welcoming. They answered any questions we had. Nothing was too Much trouble. The cottage was cosy and snug. Our dogs were ok but two medium/ large dogs may struggle for space toLie down as the kitchen/ lounge area is compact. The cottage is in a peaceful location.surrounded by lovely countryside. Our dogs loved watching the horses and sheep in the fields. The welcoming gifts of wine, cake and milk were a lovely touch. It would be worth taking a few basic food provisions with you until you get to the shops as the cottage is quite rural. The nearest town is about 5-6 miles away and has all You will need. The furnishings/bedding etc were comfortable and fresh. The cottage was lovely and clean. There are some great walks and castles to visit not too far away by car."

"Very well presented cottage a little remote from it all but very peaceful, views are very nice to wake up in a morning to super views of the Talley lakes were lovely. There are plenty walks to choose from Talley valley has three different walks around the pine forests also with the remains of the Talley Abbey to walk around. Pencarreg Cottage is very central location to Carmarthen and many coastal resorts for days out. Gillian the Lady who is the owner supplied us with a lovely welcoming pack the facilities are very good everything you could ask for. WE felt like it was home from home really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much!! Only down side for us there was not a local pub within walking distance, However this did not spoil our time spent here. Enjoyed this very much !!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. It started with a lovely welcome from the hosts along with a basket with goodies in and the most beautiful cake. Also they provided towels treats blankets and poo bags fot the dogs. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. The hosts gave us info about local walks with the dogs and things to do in the area. We went to the local national trust gardens and llanstefan beach. We had 2 dogs with us so we were a little limited to what we could do so we did a lot of walking with them, which the area is ideal for. We loved our stay and the hot tub was an added bonus, it was even nice sat in it in the rain. The garden area is completely secure and I would highly recommend the cottage. Thank you and we hope to see you again."

"Don't miss out by not having a break in these immaculate spacious cottages. There is a games room and garden with tables to picnic at over looking an orchard that Tom the Cromwell rode through. So many different varieties of birds. The Botanical gardens are a stones thro away and a must to visit with flowers and shrubs from all over the world.A steam railway to travel on which runs along side the river ad waterfalls. Buzzards,Kite and heron all busy hunting Last but, by no means, least your Hosts are delightful couple who can't do enough to tend for your fancy. Every thing has been so brilliantly thought out and covered that we found nothing lacking.Don't miss a chance to stay at this wonderful holiday home."

"This is a beautifully renovated cottage with some quirky little features which we loved. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Nice touch with the welcome bottle of wine and Welsh cakes and a very friendly and informative owner to greet you on arrival. It’s in a great location with the village only a 5 min walk away. Beautiful beaches, castles or Brecon Beacons all within a short drive for lovely days out. We had family come to visit and all celebrated the Royal wedding with Pimms and a cream tea in the garden which was great fun. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it."
