"My biggest disappointment is that this complex of about 14 or more barn extensions which have been newly built, have not been made accessible for disabled people. This made me quite sad in this day and age, it would not have cost anything for the access to have been ramped rather than building one step up into the accommodations as they have. Their response was it is not advertised as disabled friendly, which is quite hurtful to be alienated like this. Once you are in the building it would have been totally accessible then. Also outside there was no drop kerb to get from the accommodations to some of the facilities such as the laundry or the shared garden areas, which could have been easily done, especially at the step of the laundry which has now caused a water logged area directly into the laundry. A drop kerb could have meant that we could access the accommodation through the bedroom at least. Shame no consideration was given in the build for disabled people and young families. There were at least two of us wheelchair users in the complex at the time also families there with prams, who would have found the access valuable. The barn style accommodations were nice, fitted out with Ikea and rooms clean and spacious. Just the towels could have been cleaner. The grounds are being developed around the farm, there are peacocks that were very beautiful, but not so lovely when they are calling throughout the night and your getting little sleep. So if you are ill or need sleep something to consider. Was difficult to find the complex as no sign posts and had to knock on several doors etc. We were not sent an access code etc as gated entrance so stuck outside for a long time. Would stay there again. Nice play area for children on site. Dog charge expensive especially when you have two to pay for and they don't cause very much cleaning. It also states dogs free of charge but this is not the case once you book. The farm is elephant grass farming so not suitable to take your dogs in those fields, quite muddy. There is a normal field adjacent to the buildings."

"Really enjoyed our break at S78663 at the beginning of February 18. The house is lovely, I could have gladly moved in and lived there, it's in a pretty village with an award winning pub. There is everything you need for a holiday at the house, it has a good size garden which would be ideal in the summer to sit out and enjoy. The cottage is one of the best we have stayed in, my husband was impressed with the six TVs, I slept so well in the very comfy double bed. The only downside is there is no local shop, so whilst the pub is walkable, a car is needed to pop the the next village for milk etc. When we walked around the village I did notice there is ground put aside for a community shop/cafe which would be a really bonus for the village. We would definitely visit again, just wished we could afford the house if it ever came up for sale."

"The cutest of cottages...and a perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring the Cotswolds. We cosied up in front of the woodburner each evening and it was so relaxing. We enjoy breakfasts out and after looking at their website we ventured up to the Local Farmshop and it was like a ghost town ...we asked if we could have breakfast and had a luke warm response so we left. There is the one pub in the village...which we found odd to say the least. Plastic tables...extraordinarily bright lighting, not cheap and the was lined with locals not prepared to allow you to get close to choose your drink.. so our advise would be to stock up on food and nibbles...close the door and enjoy the cosy surroundings of the cottage x"

"We booked S16097 for a girls 50th celebratory weekend away and had a wonderful time. The cottage is perfect - very spacious (more than you would think from the photos) and felt very luxurious! wonderful comfy beds and duvets! Well appointed kitchen with everything you need and spacious dining room and two reception rooms - there were only 6 of us and so we had loads of space.Lower Slaughter is lovely and very pretty and there is so much to do in the local areas - we will have to return! If I had to be picky the only thing I would improve would be the wifi which was a bit hit and miss!"

"What a wonderful cottage, we loved it. Cake and flowers on arrival was a lovely touch. As Australians we have always wanted to stay in a chocolate box cottage in a pretty English village. Used it as our base to visit a number of villages in the Cotswolds. Visited St James church for the Sunday service and met a lady who has a relative who lives in our hometown. Enjoyed Chipping Campden, coffee stops and pubs. Even got a little snow storm. Loved being able to have a bath each night after our daily adventure. A great location."
