The Eastern portal to the famous Jurassic Coast, Swanage is a neat little coastal town which packs a whole lot of scenic punch. In the Victorian era, Swanage turned from quiet fishing port to full blown sea-side resort, with visitors flocking in for those English Channel views and sandy beaches. Today it remains a popular holiday spot and Snaptrip has deals on a choice of late availability accommodation so you can take a break to this charming spot without breaking the bank.

Staying in Swanage
Swanage is the home to the Anvil Lighthouse, situated in the grounds of natural oasis Durlston Country Park. It was opened in 1881 by Neville Chamberlain’s father - and we just so happen to have it listed here at Snaptrip. That’s right; the lighthouse is available for your weekend break! Not only that, but Swanage plays host to the Swanage Carnival once a year, every August. It’s a week long event that starts with fireworks and ends in a parade, perfect for a celebratory trip.
